Dear Diary,

Do you know one thing I absolutely can’t stand? People who try to shove their religion down others throat. I mean, this a free country! It clearly states in the Constitution that we all have a freedom of religion. If you don’t like it, then don’t live here.

I like to be open-minded toward all kinds of religion. I’d also like to do some research toward it. I’d like to learn about Jews and Wiccans and many, many other types of religion. Is that bad? I guess, some people could find it satanic to take part in a study toward various religions.

Maybe it’s this sense that I get that makes me feel left out — like maybe I have more options than I could ever imagine.

I’m not a very religous person, normally. If anyone asked me on my beliefs on religion, I’d tell them.

I don’t really “belong” to any religion. I just kind of go off of what I feel is right.

Isn’t that what life is all about? Learning the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, darkness and light, demons and angels? Isn’t it all about trying to make the best of everything and decisions — for yourself and everyone else — no matter how many mistakes and pain and tears and happiness and laughter there is along the way.

I certainly think it is.

Love,

Alison
