"I talk, you eat."

That should be easy enough.

"My eyes reflect the way they do because of the wolf inside me."

I gagged on my food.

Maybe not so easy.

"Wolf? ..Inside you? Yeah, maybe I was right.. Letting a maniac in wasn't too good of an idea. Keep the food, later Grey." I started to get up.

A low growl rumbled in his throat.

So, sitting back down felt like a better idea.

"Just listen and then you can make comments. Preferably not smart ass remarks." His pale brown eyes bore into mine and I couldn't help but to stare at the spec of green.

He sat up but continued to lean against my headboard.

"I was born into a society much different than your average person. My father.. he was the leader of our society, he and my mother were given the responsibility of taking care of our people before they were even eighteen."

"Society? What society, what do you mean by our people?"

"There are many.. I'd call them.. reservations across many states. Not as many as there once was, but there are still quite a few left. Not all of them are Indian reservations."

"Okay?"

"Many reservations are for our kind, and other kinds other than humans. Shit, majority of the Indian reservations are supernatural."

"Wait, excuse me?"

"You know what I mean." He smirked.

His eyes locked on mine, making me feel like I was a deadweight.

"Don't you see, Nova? I'm trying to tell you what you've already pieced together in that pretty little head of yours."

I scooted away from him when he sat up, leaning his face in towards mine.

"You're a- You're a werewolf." I waited for him to laugh and say gotcha, but that never happened.

"Just wolf will suffice." He leaned back against the headboard, his face as nonchalant as ever.

Dude, you just told someone you're a werewolf and you're all.. whatever about it?

MANIAC ALERT.

"I think I'd like for you to leave."

His eyes glared rather than reflected, "You think I'm completely bat shit. Don't you?"

I stood up, straightening myself out, "I, um.. Yeah.. yes I do, yes." I walked over to the door, opening it and gesturing for him to leave.

"If I go out that door, your father won't be too pleased."

"You wouldn't." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"I won't, only if you finish listening."

I hesitated, staring him down with my best evil-eyed look, but then slowly made my way back over to the bed after shutting the door.

"Make it quick."

"We'll be here all night."

"I definitely will, you most surely will not." I snapped.

I watched him get comfortable in my bed.

"Not as big as the one back home, but very comfy."

"I would've never guessed that my own bed was great for sleeping. Hm, gee thanks for that bit of info."
