Small Note:
Mon dieu!-My God!

I stared at them like a deer in headlights, waiting for them to call to their Alpha and get me in a heap of trouble with Grey.

But instead, I watched the girls place a finger over their lips as Lynn nodded in the direction of Grey and tapping her ear.

I knew I liked them.

They were troublemakers too.

I smiled to myself, turning back to face Grey and the small group that began to form around them.

Something was about to go down, I could tell. I could feel it.

Grey pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed a few numbers before placing it to his ear. "Meeting will be postponed for another hour. Where's the Luna?"

I watched those dark eyebrows drop and those pale brown eyes reflect in nothing but rage.

"Gone? Fucking gone! Gone where?!"

You thought my eyes were wide before, boy you'd think I'd look like a maniac if you saw them now.

Fuck a heap, I was in a mountain of trouble.

I looked at the girls, wondering if they knew who could be on the other end of that line with him.

Audri was shaking her head, but not as a reply, as in uh oh, I know who that is.

I looked to Lynn, she mouthed. 'Ginger.'

I mentally slapped myself.

Of course, for now she is still one of the heads of security. But boy has she given him another reason to kick her from the job.

"Mon dieu, is anyone good for anything around here anymore!" He crushed the phone in his hand and threw it so far, I couldn't even see where it landed from my position.

"Nova's gone!" He yelled over to Kale.

His Beta seemed to immediately know what to do, shouting orders to a few of the surrounding pack members, and watching them take off.

I felt horrible watching Grey panic and the others go looking for me, but I knew something much more important was going down.

I needed to be here.

And I knew Grey wouldn't have let me willingly, otherwise he would've told me and brought me here with him himself.

I looked back to Audri and Lynn, which one seemed to be spaced the hell out and the other seemed to be meditating with her eyes closed.

Now wasn't the time for either.

I wanted to pick something off the damn tree and throw it at them, but I'm sure that would've caused too much attention.

I opted to stare at them, hoping that would eventually get them to turn and look at me.

Audri was the first, she opened her eyes, immediately turning them on me. I gave her a look like what the hell was that about?

She tapped her head and mouthed, 'Alpha's orders.'

What the hell does that mean?

Then it dawned on me..

The pack have a mind link.
