That night, I dreamt I was back on Grey's property.
I was walking the lining of the trees as I had been the last time I was there, when I was searching for an easy way through them.
But this time, I had a feeling I wasn't looking to leave, I felt like I was looking for someone. But who?
Grey? No.
Titus? Most definitely not.
Then I paused, hearing the voice of the person I had subconsciously been looking for.
"It's you." I said, my voice continuing to echo throughout my dream.
The lady that had found me stuck in the mud when I tried to leave Grey's house. I didn't know I was searching for her let alone why, but my body could tell she was the one I needed to talk to.
"Who are you?" My voice echoed again.
I tried to make out her face, but like when we were at Grey's, rain poured down and blurred my vision.
I put my arm up to my forehead, trying to block the rain and adjust my sight, but the lady's jet black hair covered majority of her face. The rest was too distorted by the rain for me to make out.
I started to walk towards her, but the closer I seem to get, the more the mud seemed to get thicker and draw me under.
"I do need your help! Please!"
Before, I had been rude to the lady, yelling at her about not needing her help. But as the saying goes, karma is surely a bitch.
Because I desperately needed her help now.
Like before, the lady turned around but just as her face was going out of view, two strange lights peered at me.
Those eyes. She's a..
The mud quickly began to engulf me. It was now up to the middle of my chest.
I blinked the rain from my eyes, seeing the woman darting off across the clearing, towards the other side of the woods.
"Help!" I blinked the rain from my view again. I could hear nothing but hard thumping against the earth.
I looked one last time, catching a glimpse of the huge four-legged beast I'd thought I might've imagined on Grey's property.
Then, the mud consumed me completely..
I'd woken up, gasping for air and in a deep sweat. The first thing on my mind was a shower, and the second was inevitably.. Grey.
Alpha Greyden Krem.
As quickly as I thought it, I shut it out. The last time I went mentally calling out for him, he appeared out of nowhere. Literally.
Heaven knows I don't want to find Mr.Tall, Dark and Nonchalant crawling through my bathroom window right now.
Last night instantly replayed in my head.
Me running through the woods, which my legs were feeling the soreness from now. The way I pleaded to see those pale brown eyes again, and poof, there they were. There he was.
I thought back over the argument between Grey and Titus, how his body posture showed me he wasn't afraid of a damn thing. Though he was ready for a fight if he needed to be.
And when he chased me through the woods, something in me found a thrill in wolf-boy seeking me out.
What was that about?
