Wanting the Bad Boy - Chapter 10: Hit The Lights
Alex's POV
I had been thinking a lot about what Colbie said to me the other day. I had avoided her for the rest of the week because I hated admitting that she was right. She could see right through the act I had going for me. She knew that deep down I cared. But I would never say that. Especially not to her. She already knew too much about me.
It was a Friday and I wanted to do something fun. Colbie thinks she knows me, but she's got a whole lot more coming her way, I thought.
I walked down the hall and to my locker. I threw my books inside and went over to Dylan and Casella who just happened to be with Colbie. Perfect.
I stood next to Dylan and crossed my arms as I leaned against a locker. I smirked at Colbie, thinking about what I could plan for the night. She gave me a confused look then rolled her eyes and kept talking to Casella.
Dylan saw my face and elbowed me in the ribs. "What the hell, dude? You're scaring her."
"That's the point," I said under my breath. "What are you and Casella up to tonight?"
He shrugged. "Not sure. I think I'm just taking her home tonight. We'll probably stay in unless you want to do something," he said.
"Oh no, that's perfect," I said with a smile.
Dylan was onto me. "What are you doing?" He say me look back at Colbie. "Dude, don't fuck with her. She's a good girl. Don't mess with her," he said seriously.
"I'm appalled that you would think so lowly of me," I said. "I'm not a terrible guy. I'm just gonna take her out to have some fun."
"Don't get her into trouble or hurt her," he said.
"I won't." I looked back over at her and she was finishing up her conversation with Casella. Perfect timing.
"Alright. We're gonna get going. See you guys Monday," Dylan said. Casella waved to Colbie and I and then they left.
I walked over to Colbie and she glared at me. "Now you want to talk?" she asked. I laughed. "I know you've been avoiding me all week. I'm not stupid."
"I've been thinking a lot about what you said." I gave her a serious look.
"I regret none of it," she said strongly.
"I know." I took a deep breath. What was about to happen was going to be seriously painful. "You're r-right."
She raised her eyebrows at me and started laughing. "I'm what? Did you just say I'm... right?"
"You aren't going to get me to repeat it." She laughed at me and I shook my head. "We are going to hang out tonight," I said.
"Are we?"
"Of course. Get your stuff. I'll take you home first," I said walking towards her locker with her.
"I don't need to go home first," she said.
"Uh, yes you do. There's no way I'm taking you to a club while you look like a powerpuff girl," I said.
She faked being offended. Or at least I think she was faking. "I'm just wearing jeans and a green shirt," she said.
"Exactly, you need to look trashier than that. Let's go. Hurry up. They aren't open forever," I said rushing her.
"Fine." She put her books into her bag and we quickly walked towards the doors. "But I'm not dressing like a slut," she said.
"Oh sure. That's what you say now," I smirked at her.
