Cali's POV
"My thoughts have destroyed me more than blades ever could."
It's odd being the only one in the room again. When Esme's around, my thoughts are silent for a little while. Now that she's gone, they're loud and clear.
I couldn't fall asleep, so I got up and picked the door lock. Then, I ran to the window. When I opened it, a gust of wind almost knocked me over. I shivered, but jumped onto the roof.
"Holy crap its cold!!" I said to myself, wrapping my arms around my waist.
"Its not that cold, you're just a wimp." Someone said from behind me.
A guy that looked about my age approached me, looking like a complete and utter douchebag if I may add.
"Wow. I'm charmed. Who the fuck are you?" I asked.
"I'm Michael Adler. I'm new here."
"Obviously. If you weren't new, you wouldn't talk to me like that."
"Care to give me your name in return?" He answered. Damn. This guy is more of a douche than I thought.
"No not really. Sorry." I said sarcastically. He glared at me and I couldn't help but laugh. "I'm Cali."
"Well, why are you stuck here?" He asked.
I sighed, "I don't even know you, if you think I'm gonna tell you my whole life story, you're wrong."
He smirked and looked down. God damn it... I hate it when attractive guys do that... "C'mon, you can tell me."
NO CALI. NO. YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LIKE A DOUCHEBAG. STOP THAT EMOTIONS!!
"Well, I'm bulimic and i have severe depression. To be specific, i tried to kill myself 2 years ago and i would've succeeded, but i was too scared. Why are you here?"
"I'm suicidal. I'm only staying here for 2 months." He answered, sitting down. I did the same and sighed.
It began to rain, and i rolled my eyes. Really rain? Thanks for making my life like a bad soap opera.
"I love storms." He said, leaning back.
"Why?"
He smiled again, " 'Because. They let me know that even the sky screams sometimes.' I read that somewhere, and i absolutely love it."
Well fuck.
This guy isn't just a douchebag.
He's completely loveable.
Fuck.
