Forgive and forget

"Faye can I talk to you?" Piper said as she stood next to my bunk "Piper go away" Alex said "It's fine I won't be long" I said to Alex and smiled and walked outside with Piper "I wanna apologise for reacting the way I did. Me and Larry are giving things another go and I'm more than happy for you and Alex to be together if that's what you want?" She asked "I'm still trying to figure that out but thanks" I said and hugged her "Do you want me to talk to Alex?" I asked "No it's fine I'll talk to her later" she replied.

I walked into the clothing factory and started working it was exhausting and tiring but I had to work to earn like $10 for 8 hours worth of work. I walked back to my bunk and a letter was waiting on my bunk I opened it up and read what was inside
"Dear Faye,
After we met again a few weeks ago I've wanted to come and visit you to catch up properly. I also found out news on the other girls Catherine moved to Austria. Hannah has also gone to prison, (no surprise she was evil) and Kelsey moved to Denver last month. It's weird how we all went from a group of best friends to no one. I'm free to come and visit whenever I'm sorry we lost touch.

"Who was that from" Alex asked as she took her nose out of her magazine "Just a visiting order from a old school friend" I replied and smiled before sitting down. Before I could get comfy a guard took me to Mr Healy's office I went in and sat down and Pornstache was next to me "Mr Mendez what do you want to say to Faye" mr Healy began "Faye I apologise for putting you down the SHU with no reason" he sarcastically said "You make me sick" I sneered and stormed out of the office "MS MARSHALL GET BACK HERE!" Mr Healy screeched down the corridor. I carried on walking and stormed outside where it was raining.

I sat under a shelter outside it was just me none of this would have happened if I didn't hit Shanice that night I wouldn't be in this situation I would still be a normal 19 year old.... Wait.... "Do you know what the date is?" I asked one of the guards "Saturday 13th Febuary" he said before walking off. It's my birthday. My 20th birthday. I forgot my own birthday how could I even do that.... I'm spending my second decade on earth locked up here. "Hey what's wrong?" Alex asked as she approached me "It's my birthday I forgot about my own birthday" I said to her I was horrified at the thought "Come here" Alex said and she hugged me "Birthdays here are always tough, come one lets go to commissary I'll see if Chang has a special cake you can have" she said and took me inside.

"Am I getting big yet?" I asked Alex out of the blue "Faye your not even a month gone yet your fine" she said as she wrapped me up in a blanket "Thank you for all you've done for me recently" I said to her "Don't mention it anything for you" she said and smiled "I've gotta do the night shift at the factory if you need anything come find me" she said and smiled before walking away, what have I done to deserve someone as kind and caring as her?
