Chapter 37

"Really?! A girl?!" Ryeowook said standing up from shock.

"Yes, you're going to have a girl," the nurse smiled.

"Ah, this is so great!" I smiled. Ryeowook hugged me as I saw him shed a small tear.

"So far your baby girl seems healthy. Now we'll just have to wait until January for her arrival," the nurse smiled and helped me get cleaned up. Ryeowook and I happily walked out of the hospital holding hands and going back to our car.

"A girl," Ryeowook smiled on our way home.

"Isn't it great?" I smiled back.

"She's going to be daddy's little princess~" he sang.

"Whatever! She'll come to me if she ever needs anything~"

"Because your her mom?"

"Of course~ Everyone loves their mom."

"Well, I can see why."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because their mom's are pregnant with them for nine months and even though it's really hard on them they say it's a beautiful thing."

"That's true. So don't feel offended when she comes to talk to me instead of you," I smirked.

He laughed as we drove back home. Once we actually arrived at home, I had to call my members and the guys to tell them it was a girl. I got out my phone to call the guys first and thought, "Oh wait, they betted on chores and food...Poor Kyuhyun...he'll have to do chores."

"Hello?" Leeteuk answered.

"Leeteuk oppa, it's a girl," I said. I could hear him screaming to everyone else that it was a girl. There was a mixture of shouts of joy and shouts of grief.

I laughed as Leeteuk said, "Congratulations~ Take good care of my little niece~"

"I will~" I sang and hung up so I could call Hyun Jae.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Hyun Jae unni, it's a girl."

"SEE? I TOLD YOU! SHE'S HAVING A GIRL!" I heard Hyun Jae shout and I guess it alerted Kiki because I could hear her barking.

"Really? Is it really a girl?" Cho Hee shouted in the background.

"Yes, it is," I repeated.

"Congratulations~" all of them sang as I thanked them a hung up.

Ryeowook came back from the kitchen with a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries in his hands. Once I saw his food, I wanted it. It was like some sort of instinct. "Damn you pregnancy cravings!"

He only ate one strawberry and I could feel my mouth watering. He finally looked over at me and noticed I wanted one.

"Do you want one?" he asked.

"...Yeah."

He reached inside the bowl and extended his arm out to give me one. I leaned over and opened my mouth to eat it, but he reached his arm back and ate it instead.

"Yah! I wanted it!" I shouted.

"I know. But these are my strawberries. You know I love chocolate covered strawberries."

I pouted and got up to get my own strawberries. Thankfully there were still more chocolate covered strawberries in the fridge. In revenge, I filled up a bowl with the rest of the strawberries to where there weren't any left. When I came back, Ryeowook noticed how much I got.
