Part 36

FFW 2 months later...

Lisa's POV

Things with Logan and I have been really good. We've been back together for almost 3 months now.

He has been watching Lucas this past week. His sister and her husband went out of town so Lucas is staying with him.

It's crazy how much he loves his nephew. Every time I see Logan with him I can tell that he wants the best for him.

I've spent almost every day this week with them. We took him to the park yesterday and went to the zoo the day before that. Today Logan texted me and asked if I wanted to come hang out at his house with them, so I'm headed over there now.

When I pulled up in his driveway I walked through the back gate because I knew they would be outside. As soon as I walked through the gate Lucas ran towards me with a big smile on his face.

Lucas- "Lisa!!" He said in a happy, cute voice. He ran over and I squatted down to give him a hug.

Lisa- "Hey! What are you guys doing?" I asked, noticing how excited he was.

Lucas- "Uncle Logan brought over my car! Do you want to see?!" Before I could even answer he grabbed my hand and led me over to where his car was.

Logan looked at me with a cheeky smile. He walked over to me and pecked my lips.

Logan- "Hey thanks for coming over." He said happily as he looked at me.

Lisa- "Of course. How could I not want to spend time with the two cutest guys ever?" I said so that only he could hear. He smirked at me and then looked up when Lucas called his name.

Lucas- "Uncle Logan come drive with me!"

Logan- "I'm not gonna fit in that car little man!" He said laughing.

Lucas- "Yes you can! Pwwwease!"

Logan would always do anything for him, so I knew as soon as Lucas gave him begging eyes he would do it.

Logan- "Alright but you better scoot over so I don't squish you!" I laughed as he walked over and tried to get in the toy car with him.

When he finally squeezed in Lucas started driving around. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of them in the car together.

We played outside with his nephew for a while longer and then decided to go inside when it got late. Lucas went and sat in the living room and watched tv, leaving Logan and I in the kitchen while we waited for the food we put in the oven to be done.

We sat at the table and I showed Logan the pictures I had taken over the past few days (Pics above). He looked at the pictures with a wide smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile when I saw how happy he looked.

Lisa- "It's really cute how much you love him." He tore his eyes from the phone and looked up at me.

Logan- "He's such an awesome kid. You're really good with him too. He loves you. Every time you leave he asks when the next time he gets to see you will be." I smiled widely and bit my bottom lip.

Lisa- "Do you want kids one day?"

I know that can be a weird question to ask guys but I've known him for a long time and if you don't count our break then we have been together for a year and a few months. And as time passes it makes me curious because that's a big part of our future. It's something I want to see eye to eye on. So when he answered I couldn't help but be relieved.

Logan- "Yeah I do. I love kids and I think I've always wanted that family life." I paused then answered after a few moments.

Lisa- "That's exactly the way I feel." I said smiling back at him.

Logan- "Trust me, I knew you felt that way already." I laughed and scrunched my eyebrows because I was confused.

Lisa- "What? How could you know that?"  I asked still laughing slightly.

Logan- "I had to make sure you liked kids before we got too serious. That's one of the reasons I invited you to come hang out with me and Lucas after only dating for a little while."

Lisa- "You were testing me?!" I asked laughing and slapping his arm.

Logan- "Not testing! Just seeing." He said with a cheeky side smirk.

Lisa- "How were you able to tell?"

Logan- "You were so good with him. And I could see you smiling. Not a fake smile, a real and genuine smile. It was easy to see that you liked kids, even in just that moment."

I smiled at him. He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. When he pulled away he remained close and spoke quietly.

Logan- "You're insanely beautiful. Seriously... You're amazing."

Lisa- "What made you say that?" I said with a smile on my face.

Logan- "Sometimes I feel like you don't see yourself the way I do. I see you as strong and kind and genuine... everything that makes you so beautiful. I just wanted to remind you. Just in case you forgot." He said with a small smile. I put my hands on his cheeks and gently pulled him closer, pressing my lips against his once more.

Lisa- "I love you. I always will." I said happily.

Logan- "I love you too."
