Harry's POV

Relief and confirmation that Jen still wanted this, still wanted us, swam through my nervous body, as I read the text she had sent through.

"I didn't mean what I said, it's just been a long day, and I lost it for a minute. I hope this hasn't ruined anything, I love you, and meeting you was the best thing that has happened to me..."

I should have known from the beginning that she didn't mean what she said, because she told me numerous times over, that her life was better since I was in it. Today had been stressful on both of us, and I let my paranoia get the better of me, and question my relationship when I shouldn't have.  I guess I would always have those small insecurity issues, no matter how stable we were, but all in all I knew she loved me, I could feel it.

Knowing my Jen, she was probably stressing herself out even more now, especially since I still hadn't replied to the message. She would be questioning herself, and beating herself up for what was said, and I highly considered just getting back into my car and going to her.

"I'm coming back to you." I responded, walking back downstairs to retrieve my boots that were sprawled out on either side of the room.

"Where are you going?" Willow asked, taking in the sight of me placing my boots back on, to leave.

"Back to the hospital, I shouldn't have left in the first place," I declared, just as Jen had replied to my message.

"Babe, stay home. You have your interview tomorrow, you can't go on no sleep, we are fine. I'll see you in the morning x" she responded. When was I ever one to listen though? I was still going regardless.

"What time is our interview with Angus tomorrow?" I asked Willow, forgetting I even had that on tomorrow. It was our last interview for the promo circuit, and I was actually looking forward to it.

"They pre record the show at two, so you guys have to be there by at least one to get ready, and run down what can and can't be asked," she explained.

"It's my brother in law, I think he knows what's respectful and what isn't. I'm going to head back to the hospital now, hopefully Mia will be discharged early tomorrow morning, then I'll head to the studio. If I'm not there by one, Angus will know why anyway. I assume you two are heading in together?" I motioned towards Willow and Niall.

"Yeah, I'll skim the questions anyway for you," Niall responded, and I left the pair of them to continue on doing whatever it was they were doing before I came home.

...

"Visiting hours are over, sir," one of the nurses was refusing me entry to see my own daughter.

"My daughter is in this ward, I just stepped out for a little bit, but i'm back now," I explained to her.

"What is her name?" She questioned me.

"Mia Styles."

"And what is your name?" She questioned me further, and I was finding this process a little ridiculous. It shouldn't have been this hard to get into this place.

"Harry Styles," I said rather annoyed.

"Do you have some ID?"

Was she serious? I huffed in annoyance, reaching into my pocket for my wallet, to show this woman my drivers license.

"See, Harry Styles, same face on the card as in person...can I see my daughter now?"

"Sorry Mr. Styles, we have a strict security policy here, I'll let you in," she left her desk, finally opening the door to let me through.
