Jen's POV

Tomorrow my family and I would be leaving for the U.K, to celebrate our first Christmas all together, with Harry's family. I was excited to spend the holidays in a new setting, with new people, and felt extremely lucky I got to share this with the man I loved for the first time, and our daughter.

Over the past couple of days, when I went to visit Bella, each time she would ask me to bring Mia along, and I kept putting it off as I didn't think she was ready. I'd also put off talking about Jake, as did she. She didn't speak a word of it, so I tried to avoid the subject in case I started an unwanted conflict.

Today however, I felt it was time for Bella to meet my daughter. I knew what a confusing time it was for her right now, and how nothing was making sense, but maybe seeing Mia in person would help trigger some kind of memory of me being pregnant, and her being at my baby shower before the accident.

Harry didn't come along today, he was at my parents house, helping mum decide on what to pack, as she demanded he go over since "he knew the weather over there, and what's appropriate". I laughed that she was treating him as her personal stylist, but I think this was her sneaky way of spending one on one time with him, since she hadn't really gotten any since we'd been back.

"Are you ready to meet your Aunty Bella?" I unbuckled Mia, taking her out of her seat. She was getting bigger and bigger each day, it was hard to imagine how this beautiful girl grew inside of me for nine months.

She was looking more and more like Harry- she had his big beautiful eyes full of life, and even inherited his dimples, though it was hard to see since her cheeks were the most pinchable chubby cheeks I'd seen.

Usually I just carried her around in her seat, but I jumped at any chance to hold her, and bring her close to me, so I carried her out of the car, and into the hospital in which she was born.

It was a different feeling entering this hospital with her, as opposed to leaving it. I still hated hospitals, but this one would always hold a special place in my heart.

"Aunty Bella is so excited to meet you, she doesn't know you're coming today, it's a surprise. One day I'm going to tell you all about her, and how she was the greatest friend I had. Just don't tell your uncle Mason or uncle Angus that, they both think they hold that title."

I missed both the boys, even though I had only just left Angus. Mason had already left Melbourne for the holidays, so I'd just missed him when I got back. He was spending the holidays in the UK with some of his family over there, and his friends he'd made while he worked there. I hoped we'd have the chance to catch up at some point during my stay.

"Okay, this is her room," I opened the door, to see her watching TV. She was watching some daytime soap opera, something her and I would do often when we lived together, since both our mums got us obsessed.

"Oh my gosh, is that...?" Bella clasped her mouth in excitement, as she looked at who I was carrying into the room.

"Yeah," I nodded, walking towards her to take a seat in my usual spot, on her bed.

"Jen, oh my gosh she's so precious," she stroked her fine hair back, staring in awe and amazement.

"Do you want to hold her?" I asked.

"Yes," she nodded, holding her arms out for me to pass Mia over.

"She's so gorgeous Jen, she looks like Harry, but she's got your fair skin," she smiled down at her, laughing at the fair skin comment.

When her and I became friends, we had told each other what our perfect children would look like. My one thing I hoped for my child was that she or he would not inherit my fair complexion, to which she agreed, since she was fair herself.
