You'd think after getting chased through the woods by my psychopath ex-girlfriend Victoria four times a week on average, I'd remember to pack a stick of deodorant and water bottles in my back pack. Somehow though I managed to forget both items every morning and my pit stench made everyone I had class with before lunch suffer. I also was pretty dehydrated but that wasn't as serious as pit stench.

So, as you can imagine, I was relieved when the bell rang for lunch and took off for the bathrooms like Sonic. Before I did though I made sure to ask Luke for his deodorant so I wouldn't have to contaminate the lunch room looking for him. It didn't matter if I stunk up the boy's bathroom, it already smelled.

"Here, don't use too much bro that's the expensive kind from Hollister. I spent fifteen bucks on that," Luke said as he passed it to me outside of the bathroom and I pulled off the cap to take a whiff.

"Whoa Luke, you spent twenty dollars on a can of rich boy farts. What's wrong? Ran out of your own?" I grinned and he rolled his eyes as he shoved me towards the bathroom door.

"Go clean up. I'll save you a seat." And with that we parted ways, he into the lunch room and I into the bathroom.

When I walked in I pulled off my shirt, not caring if anyone saw, and I grabbed a paper towel to put some soap on so I could clean up my pit smell. It probably would've made more sense to go take a shower in the boys locker-room but that was on the other side of the school, and the coach didn't like non-athletic kids using the hot water.

Therefore the boys bathroom was my only choice, unless I washed myself in the water fountain but I'm pretty sure I couldn't get away with that. I could get away with singing in the bathroom though.

"Ohhhhhhh...I'm washing my pits today today...to get the smell away away...now I'm putting on some nice smelling deodorant...yeaaahhhhhhhh..." Suddenly then my jamming lyrics were cut off with a scream when I noticed something I wish I had known two minutes ago.

A girl.

A girl was in the boy's bathroom and she had just emerged from the stall and it was I who had screamed as I covered myself with my shirt, while she stared at me blankly.

Actually, it kind of looked like she had been crying. She had mascara smeared around her eyes and her lips were turned upside down most unpleasantly. I didn't care to comment though, crying girls weren't my problem especially ones with diaries, which was what she had tucked underneath her arm.

"Ummm....this is the boy's bathroom..." I said slowly and she pressed her lips together hard as she looked away to wash her hands.

"One would think it's a girl's bathroom though given the way you're hiding your breasts," She said, sniffling and I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Can you just get out? Girls aren't allowed in here," I said sharply and she swallowed thickly. I was expecting another smart Alek remark, but instead she just dried her hands and left quietly.

Once I was sure she was gone I checked the bathroom for anymore female stowaways before finishing up quickly and leaving. Who was that girl anyways? I had never seen her before, she must be new. Or one of those kids who hides all the time.

Didn't matter, she was gone now and I wasn't going to worry about her anymore and for the rest of the day I didn't. By the end of lunch I had completely forgotten about the crying peeping Tammy and began worrying about what segments I was going to for tomorrow's show.

I couldn't always count on Victoria showing up and chasing me out of the building, so I had to make sure I had stuff planned out. Especially the songs. The songs I picked to pump people up for the long day was one of the most popular things on the show after my jokes, meaning I had to choose carefully and choosing carefully took a lot of time.

A lot of time that cut into classes and homework but I always worked around it. Finding loop holes is a lot easier than you think. I just wish there was a way to completely get out of school all together but my parents valued by education to much to let me drop out.

Not that I would if I could, I just wish I could hire someone to take my classes and do my homework for me. Somehow though, I managed to push through each day and when the final bell rang I always made sure to be the first one out of my class. I was always one of the last ones out school though because so many people would be trying to talk to me as I was heading out.

Especially today after they heard the crazy ex-girlfriend fiasco.

I think I had like seven girls tell me they were glad she didn't kill me. It's insane how much strangers can care about your wellbeing when your only sort of famous, isn't it?

Unfortunately, the good mood that put me in was quickly ruined when I walked outside the school and found my bike crushed.

Like someone had run over it.

With a car.

Victoria.

"Are you kidding me.....are you freaking kidding me..." I muttered repeatedly as I picked up the bike to look at it. It was trashed; I'd have to get a new one.

"Are you kidding me Victoria?!" I then shouted as I threw the hunk of metal down and looked around the parking lot for her, practically foaming at the mouth. I would never ever hit a girl, but booooooy did I want to hit this one.

Fortunately for her she was nowhere to be found.

Didn't matter, I'd see her tonight and give her a piece of my mind.

"Hey Ben! Need a ride?" Luke called out and I looked up to see him pulling up in his car. "Yeah, a ride would be nice." I sighed and he honked his horn.

"Then c'mon brother! If we hurry we can get in some game time before the party tonight!" He hollered, blaring his horn again and someone yelled at him to shut up. Rolling my eyes at him, I smiled just a little as I climbed into the passenger side of the car. He then took off with the roar of his engine.

"Is this car new?" I shouted over the engine and Luke nodded.

"Yup! Dad got a new car and gave me this one! I'm probably going to race her tonight!" He announced excitedly. Every time we went to a party Luke participated in the drag races through the neighborhood, a popular sport around here, even though it was illegal.

Our motto was, 'It's only illegal if you get caught' , which worked out pretty well for us.

I had never personally participated in them though because I didn't have a car yet. Unlike Luke's filthy rich parents, mine were middle class and that made it hard to drop twenty grand on a new car. So, I was scrapping and saving as much money as I could while secretly hoping my sister would just give me her car and get a new one.

That had yet to happen.

"Is there a cash prize tonight?" I asked and Luke nodded.

"Yes. Like six hundred dollars I think? Everyone wanted to raise the stakes a bit," He said and I nodded in agreement.

"Obviously." I then looked over at him.

"When you win am I going to get a cut for agreeing to go along and watch everyone enjoy the cars I don't have?" I asked and he nodded.

''Yup. One hundred percent cut for your new car. Then when you get I'm going to win all of it back, plus interest." He smirked and I punched his arm.

"Well in that case you better win me some money."
