The weird thing about blacking out is you don't dream. You literally close your eyes and in what seemed to seconds you open them again in an entirely different place. One moment I was staring at Lucy completely frozen in time, and then I woke up to the sound of music vibrating the bed beneath me and making my headache worse.

"Ah...ouch..." I hissed as I slowly sat up and when I pressed my fingers to the back of my head tenderly I felt a lump there. Great.

"Looks like you finally woke up," Rodney then said from an undecided part of the room and I blinked hard before turning to the side and I jumped when I saw him.

"Geez Rodney! Were you there the whole time?" I gasped and he shrugged.

"He's been watching you like the grim reaper the entire time." Leopold glowered in disapproval and I looked to my other side to see him and Gene standing there.

"Are you feeling okay? I'm so sorry! I honestly thought you were going to catch the mic!" Gene apologized anxiously while taking a seat at the end of the bed and I shook my head.

"It's alright, I wasn't paying attention." I then glanced around the remainder of the room while gripping my head. "Where's Andrew?" I asked and Leopold shrugged.

"He went to go get ice. Not really sure what's taking so-"

Before he could finish though Andrew had burst through the door with a Ziploc bag of ice in hand.

"Found some! Is Ben awake?" He asked, forgetting to control the volume of his voice but lowered it with an apology after I groaned in discomfort. Fortunately though the ice pack did help and I sighed softly once I applied it to the new head I was growing on the back of my original one.

"How long was out?" I asked and Rodney counted on his fingers before pointing his index one at me.

"Three days," He said and I sat up completely fast.

"What?!" I practically shouted and everyone glared at Rodney.

"Ten minutes. You've been out for ten minutes; Rodney is going to be out cold for three days though when I'm done with him." Gene growled at him and he held up a defensive hand.

"Hey! You can't hit the kid with baby fat, he might explode." He warned and I laid back with the roll of my eyes.

"Look, I'm fine now, how about you guys go back downstairs and enjoy the party?" I suggested.

"Are you sure you don't want us to take you home? We can continue the party there, safely," Andrew offered, I declined though with the shake of my head.

"No, you all go back downstairs and enjoy. It sounds like Jake got the speakers fixed." I sighed. For a moment they all hesitated, seeming unsure about leaving me alone but soon Rodney broke first.

"Okay, I'm going to go get my freak back on." He decided and with that he left, shortly followed by Andrew who muttered something about babysitting.

"Ben it really won't be a problem, we can take you home. I've got enough notes about the party.'' Gene pressed and I shook my head.

"No, you both go enjoy yourselves. I'm fine." I insisted. They shared a look, still dubious but just like the others they soon left. It probably would've been a good idea to take them up on us all leaving early but just because I hit my head and conked out doesn't mean its party over for us all. I should be alright lying here alone in this dark room, with my thoughts. I wasn't alone very long though before I heard the door creak open and I sat up.
