The rest of Saturday was spent sitting in Eatology with Gene and Lucy drinking expensive milkshakes while talking about this past weeks events. Lucy was still obviously upset about how everything went down but I think talking to Gene and I put her in a better place.

All day Sunday the three of us went to see a movie then hung around the house. In all this time Gene hadn't had much luck talking to Leopold, he was to angry to even listen to her. He answered the first time she called after I left her room but when he heard she wanted to talk about me he hung up and hadn't answered his phone since.

As you could imagine all three of us anticipated an awkward Monday because of this. I think after spending the whole weekend bonding though and ranting about how angry we were, the three of us were ready for whatever the dreaded day was going to throw our way.

Well, Lucy and I were.

Gene had been expelled for a week so she didn't have to worry about dealing with the awaiting drama. That meant I was going to have to be the strong one, so I decided to go about my normal routine of picking up Lucy and taking her to do Radio Boy with me.

The best I could do right now was keep a normal routine going, some consistency was good in a stressful situation. As always I let Lucy do the show with me and that seemed to relax her.

She liked doing the show, I could tell she did and I thought she was really talented at being entertaining. She was funny and creative, all good qualities to have when doing a radio show where people had to rely on your voice and nothing more. She always seemed to be in a better mood afterwards and today her mood really did seem to improve after we did the show.

"You know, I think I might be starting to become a morning person," Lucy said as we finished packing up my equipment and locked the studio door.

"Is that so?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah. Maybe its because I've been sleeping better lately." She shrugged as she grabbed my hand while we walked downstairs. Smiling I gave it a soft squeeze and brought her knuckles to my lips.

"And why do you think that is?" I asked. She just shrugged once again as we came into the lobby of the radio station and I was surprise to see Luke's dad standing there.

"Oh hey Ben! I was hoping to run into you this morning!" He announced as he gestured for me to come over.

"Oh boy, am I in trouble?" I asked, hoping he wasn't going to give me bad news or tell me Lucy couldn't do the radio show anymore. She had gone from being a visitor to a co-host pretty much and I hadn't necessarily asked permission.

"Not at all, I just wanted to see if you could have a meeting with me after school? I'd have one with you right now but I don't want you to be late," He said, catching me off guard.

A meeting? A meeting after school? Last time we had a meeting he told me he might have to cancel Radio Boy, so that made me really nervous that this was what the meeting was about. Why would he ask me to have it after school? It had to be bad news, he probably didn't want to give me bad soul crushing news right before school.

"Oh...umm...sure. I don't have anything going on after school so that should be fine," I said slowly before swallowing thickly. "What's the meeting about?" I asked cautiously and he looked away to grab the folder of files he had been sorting through.

"Radio Boy of course. Now get going, you've missed enough school this past week and I promised your mother I'd see to it you made it there on time." He then glanced at Lucy. "You too Mrs. Alderman," He said playfully, making Lucy turn red.
