I probably should've talked to Andrew in second period about my list of things to address in phase two but I didn't want to ruin his good mood-- and I kept getting distracted by our classmates who were all freaking out over us preforming at the party.

This was so weird, it was like the start of Radio Boy all over again except it happened a little faster.

Apparently everyone thought I was a fantastic singer, which was odd to me because I never thought of myself as one. I suppose having a secret talent, so secret I didn't even know about it, would explain a lot about my love for music.

When lunch rolled around, instead of heading straight to the cafeteria I went to the door of the girls bathroom instead and waited. Today I was going to convince Lucy to sit with me and my friends. No more of this eating in the bathroom alone business, she was being promoted to lunch room status.

As I sat there waiting, I pulled out my phone and went to check Jake's YouTube channel. Sure enough he had post a video of our performance there, and didn't care to edit out the part where I got knocked out by a microphone.

Legendary.

Definitely going to make the year book for that one.

Chuckling a little I put my phone away as Lucy appeared in the hall and when she saw me you could hear her sharp intake of breath.

"Hi Ben," She said austerely while glancing between me and the bathroom door.

"Hey Lucy, I was hoping to run into you." I pushed myself off the wall and stood up straight.

"Want to eat lunch with me and my friends today? Our table is much more comfortable then a toilet seat and smells better to unless Rodney forgot to brush." She looked at me vacuously, then shook her head.

"No Ben, I rather sit in my usual spot," She said before continuing her stride into the bathroom but I jumped between her and the door.

"Why? Why won't you give yourself a chance to broaden your horizon? You never know what could happened if you said yes for once." I argued, earning an eye roll as she looked up at me in aggravation.

"What if I don't want to?" She asked before trying to step around me but I moved with her.

"What if I said I was going to continue to be irritable and follow you into the bathroom?" I challenged and she laughed dryly.

"You wouldn't dare." I shrugged as I then held the bathroom door open for her.

"Go on, test me. I'm a lot of things Lucy Burke but I'm no liar." I promised.

For a moment she hesitated, looking torn between trusting me or not, then she cautiously brushed by me and walked into the bathroom. As said, I followed right behind her into the girls bathroom and when some of the girls in there screamed and began fussing she pushed me out of there quickly and back into the hall.

"Are you crazy?" She scowled and held up my hands defensively.

"I'm Ben actually and I told you I was going to follow you." I then gave her my sweetest smile while praying silently she wouldn't strangle me. "Will you please come eat lunch with me Lucy?" I asked sincerely and she sighed heavily.

"What do you get out of it, hmm?" She asked.

"The pleasure of your company if that's reason enough, if not I'm sure my friend Gene would enjoy having another girl at the table," I said upon slipping my hands in my pockets.

Lucy then sighed in defeat and held out her lunch tray.

"Fine, but your going to have to hold this because I'm to clumsy to navigate through the cafeteria," She said and I happily took the lunch tray.
