ALL THE JACK SHIPS. ALL THE MOTHERFUCKING JACK SHIPS.
As you can tell by the last chapter, if I had to pair Jack up with someone from the Big Four (the Cross-over, not from the Guardians), I'd definitely pick Rapunzel. Though Merida is a close second.
If you know me well, you know that I'm a sucker for a good ship with unresolved sexual tension. It's my specialty. And this ship definitely has it, since I can see them butting heads for how similar they are. Yet I think these similarities would also bring them closer, since I think they'd both admire each other for their sense of rebellion and freedom.
I especially think Merida would want someone like Jack. I think that she would definitely want a guy who is independent and free-spirited, that would give her freedom and space. Jack would not make her feel that a relationship would hold her down, and vice versa. They'd spend time but also give time for themselves. I think this is very important in a relationship.
I just really like the idea of them admiring each other for how free-spirited and how out-of-the-norm they are, especially Jack towards Merida who's a princess. And really, I just LOVE the idea at how Merida after a freakishly long time confesses Jack her feelings with a massive blush on her face and Jack is like, snickering and being all like 'Merida, please, I figured you liked me MONTHS ago'. JUST. I THINK IT'D BE CUTE OKAY
Overall I can definitely see Jack and Merida looking past their rivalry and eventually becoming lovers. I think they'd be at most comfortable with each other and never get bored of the other.
