Like I said in the last chapter, I'm not a big fan of many of the Hiro ships, but they're mostly on the neutral side. This one is too, mostly since I don't really care about Penny, but this is also slightly more on the dislike side than the others.
Now, granted, I found out about this ship through Maria, aka PerrythePlatypusGirl, who hates Penniro more than anyone I know. So I know any of you Penniro fans will be like 'B-But she's biased! Don't let her opinion get to you Nico!'. But you see, here's the thing. Maria is way better at expressing her opinions on ships than any of you, and myself, so I know that she's right.
From what she reminded me about Penny, since I saw Bolt a long time ago and I don't remember much about her, she's very soft-spoken, rather timid, and passive, aka., the opposite of the type of girl I ship Hiro with. As much as the shippers try to argue, they have absolutely nothing in common, and nothing in which they can relate. Maybe they'd have a nice friendship, but not much more than that.
They're very incompatible and the shipper's are far too passionate over this pretty boring ship. I think people ship it because a) They look cute together (which is kinda true, I mean, look at the manip above) and b) They think the Real Penny is the Penny from the show, which is totally not the case, and kinda gross that they think that tbh.
There is far more to Hiro than just being awkward, and I don't think the Penniro shippers realize this. He is also bold, reckless, and would totally be into someone who's like him, aka. someone who is NOT like Penny
