I do get this ship. I guess it's suppose to be like Willet, since Penny is also a bit timid and passive like Violet, and because I'm such a sucker for that trope I think this ship does it just fine. Though it's nowhere near as interesting as the way Willet does it, and though I guess if I had to pair everyone up in the Modern Four (assuming that I actually like the Modern Four even though I don't), I'd put Penny with Wilbur and Hiro with Violet, even if Willet is the best of the bunch but hey, it will stop Penniro from happening, sooooo...
I've also heard people say that they can show the pressures of being famous, which is nice, and not something you can do with anyone else, even though it doesn't really grab me. It's kinda like with Javis and the whole immortality thing. It's an interesting bonus but it doesn't add too much.
I know that this chapter is all over the place, but that's kinda what I feel about this ship. I get it, in some small level I like it, but it feels unnecessary when I have Willet do exactly what they do but better. If you give me two ships that are waaaaay too similar, I will choose whichever grabs me the most and not both. I do this with ships all the time, like the aforementioned Javis with Jackunzel, where Jackunzel just grabs me most and I end up choosing it instead of both.
This one is a little more on the like side than very neutral, but still pretty neutral to me nevertheless.
