Shipping Book #1: CGI Cross-over Edition

I might prefer Tadashi with Honey Lemon, but that doesn't mean I don't love this either. 

Let me tell you, at first, I wasn't keen to shipping this. Before the movie the only ships I thought I was really gonna like were Hirogo and Tadahoney. Which I do like, as you know, IF YOU'VE BEEN READING >:C But I thought those would be the only ones. I was afraid Tadashi would turn out too nice for me to like with GoGo, and usually, I'm not a big fan of shipping the really sweet boy with the more rough girl, or the really sweet girl with the more rough boy. They always seem like a ploy to get the rough one to show their soft side by having the really sweet one indirectly force the rough one to change and I am so fucking sick of this trope but whatever let's move on. I changed my mind when I saw how sarcastic and cynical Tadashi could be and, though it did irritate me sometimes, it definitely made him really compatible with GoGo (and thank God, 'cause I was guiltily shipping them after I read this fanfic of them getting married.) 

I really enjoy how Tadashi and GoGo would probably have a lot of playful banter and silly bickering, but they'd still be a really caring and loving ship. I LOVE the idea of GoGo having a huge crush on the dorky but sweet and lovable Tadashi. I am a sucker for those couples where one is crushing on the other and it's totally unexpected. Now THAT'S a trope I'm not sick of, and that I always welcome with wide arms. And I just really love the idea of them having a lot of trust on one another and balancing it out with funny insults x3

AND IT'S ALL FUCKING ADORABLE UNTIL TADASHI DIES >:C

And, of course, because angst is apart of my soul, THAT'S when I start to REALLY ship them together. Just...yes. Tadashi dead and GoGo so broken. The angst that I need to live. IT PLEASES THE SADIST IN ME.

So yeah, bottomline, this one definitely surprised me and became one of my favorite couples of Big Hero 6. I may not love them as much as say Tadahoney, or the other guy I most ship GoGo with (you'll see who it is soon ;)), but it's close.
