I blame the godawful mess that are my emotions for this ship entirely on you.
The thing is, when I started to like Shermellope, I started to realize the problems I had with this, and that's something, considering that I actually shipped this when I saw the movie.
When I started to ship it, it was because I liked the idea that Penny actually admired and had a small crush on Sherman, and to hide it she bullied him. Yet when she started to hang out with him, she decided to not hide anymore. I still like that headcanon....but as just that, a headcanon. In the movie, Penny was envious of Sherman, and you can't grow love out of envy. Yet they actually grow and they have this nice romance with nice scenes and I just find it cute?! But it was also kind of rushed and I'm not sure if I want to encourage kids to fall in love with the people that bully them, and it also seems like this ship is the entire reason Penny got redeemed and unless if it's really interesting I don't like it when a ship does that, and just....I'm really torn with this.
....I'm not even gonna rate this one. I can't rate this one yet. I just don't know.
