I REALLY like these two! They were so cute in the movie! It was such an odd couple to get together. I mean, it's hard to pinpoint what exactly made Felix like her. He didn't seem like the type of guy who liked the tough girls, but then again, I'm not the type of girl that would seem to adore the OTP that I have (HEY NO ONE HAS ASKED SO I HAVEN'T MADE THE CHAPTER YET) so I'm not one to judge. Besides, you gotta want the guy to be happy, he's a complete sweetie <333
I also like that, as obvious as it could have been, Felix is not meant to fix Calhoun, but Calhoun's heart. At the end of the movie she does not change, she just becomes a happier person. This is such an amazing thing, like you don't even know. Usually the tough ones are always implied that they need to 'change' because apparently you can't be tough and be a good person, and it would have been easy to do considering that Calhoun can be downright rude sometimes. But they don't and I really appreciate that, especially since I have seen people try to do the change thing with someone who's a builder, from another fandom. I think it's very important to let kids know that you can make someone happier without changing them and accepting them, and it says so much good stuff about Disney to have a couple to execute that lesson....unlike Eugenzel, which I'm pretty sure was meant to be because Rapunzel could heal all of Eugene's insecurities. Fuck Eugenzel. Fuck it and throw it off a cliff.
