This ship is....fine. I really can't say anything else. It's just fine. The way people ship it is fine, the characters together are a fine match. It's all okay.

I'm surprised this ship didn't rise, considering that Jack is still a dream boy to some and Tadashi is the current dream boy until a new attractive male comes by (At the very least I haven't seen too many people crushing on Nick from Zootopia, so yeah, we'll just keep waiting for the human guy). I remember when this ship was made and I remember it made a small impact, but nothing as grandiose as Hijack...again, this ship deserves it better.

I do get the appeal beyond that though. Though Jack and Tadashi are similar, ESPECIALLY in an Guardian!Tadashi AU, with them both being playful, teasing big brothers who soon die in an element (Jack in frozen water/ice, Tadashi in fire). Big reason why people see Tadashi as having fire powers, which isn't too bad at all. Tadashi and Jack do have differences though. Tadashi is more about priority, while Jack is more about adventure and fun. Tadashi is selfless, while Jack is selectively selfless; Jack will do anything for a loved one, but Tadashi would do anything for anyone. If anything, Jack's actually pretty selfish. He only cared about joining the guardians first because he wanted to see his memories, and didn't really care about what happened to them or the kids until he got attached to them.

I would actually want to see him with someone selfless who can teach him about caring more about others. If there's any nice things I can say about Jelsa, is that there are people who do consider Jack falling for Elsa for her kindness and selflessness...kinda wish I saw this more than them just falling period. I don't tend to ship Jack with the selfless characters...heck, I tend to ship him with the selfish characters, like Merida and especially the person I most ship him with WHICH I AM NOT REVEALING YET. It'd be nice to switch things up for once...

...But the thing is, as much as this ship works, I can't find myself too invested. They are such a safe yaoi ship that they lack any new development or insight. They're bland and not particularly fluffy to make up for it, so I'm pretty neutral on them overall
