Josh POV
We spend the next few days together. Today Colleen is back on set and I am joining her and Kory. I am standing looking out the window waiting for her to get ready until I hear a knock at the front door. I walk to open it as Colleen finishes getting dressed. I turn the doorknob and see Kory standing there. "Kory! Hi buddy" I say reaching out to hug him. He smiles and hugs me back. "Hey Josh. So glad you are here now. Colleen needs you" he says. Those words stick with me. I pull out of the hug and look around for her. "Kory, is Colleen ok?" I ask whispering as we make our way to the sofa. "She is ok but something is up with her. She is overworking and I find her working through the night most nights. She is going to kill herself" he says watching me. "Now that I am here that is all gonna change" I say as I hear our bedroom door open and Colleen appears in the doorway braiding her hair with her jeans and tshirt on. Even though we just woke up she looks so tired. Kory quickly gets up from the couch and goes to his room after saying hello to her. I follow her to the kitchen and scoop her up. She shrieks and squeals as I hug her tight. "Colleen, you look so tired honey" I say kissing her neck. "Well thats because my husband kept me up most of the night" she giggles. "Babe that was only an hour" I say holding her face taking a real good look at her face. "I don't sleep well Josh. You know that" she says as she breaks from my grip. "Just have me concerned. Kory says you stay up most nights working" I say. She turns to spin and look at me. "Why are you and Kory talking about me?" She says angrily. "Colleen, he just was mentioning how happy he was that I was here to settle you down a bit" I say walking towards her. "Well I am 29 and can take care of myself and know what I can and can't handle" she says as she walks past me. "Kory lets go!" She yells ending our conversation as she puts on her shoes. Kory comes out of his room and looks at me. He must have heard us. I throw my shoes on and follow the two of them out and head to the car to drive her to the set. Maybe I overstepped my boundaries.
I sit in the car and drive as Kory takes the backseat behind Colleen. I look over at Colleen and she is crying. "Babe" I say reaching for her hand. She grabs back and smiles at me briefly before turning away. We finally reach the set and Colleen and Kory hop out and wait for me as Colleen throws a lanyard around my neck granting me access to the set. I pull her into kiss me quickly. Again she smiles and leads me to the chairs that Chris is sitting in and some of the producers I recognize. "Hey guys!" I say as I approach. Chris gets up and hugs me and the other producers shake my hand. I turn around and see Colleen pointing at a chair. "Here is your chair Josh" she says.I see embroidered into the back of the chair MIRANDAS BAE. I smile at Colleen as she watches me. Below that my name JOSHUA appears. "So sweet babe. Thank you" I say."I had it made for you. You're welcome. I have to go to the makeup trailer ok?" She says. "Ok honey. Love you. Will see you soon" I say squeezing her hand as I sit in my chair. I watch her and Kory walk away. God I love her.
