Josh POV
"Colleen!" I yell. I hear her talking but its muffled. She put the phone down I am guessing. I call Chris her brother. "Hey Josh!" He says happily as he answers the phone. "Chris, Kory and Colleen are at their apartment but someone is there that isn't supposed to be. She told me to call the police. Call them please!" I ask. He just hangs up and I go back to my call with her and I hear her crying and some shrieks. I feel ill. I put my hand over my mouth crying until I hear a loud noise and Kory yelling. I hear her phone get unmuffled. "Josh!" Kory cries. "Kory whats going on? Chris has called the police. Where is Colleen?" I ask crying. "He hurt her bad Josh" he says sobbing. "Who? What?" I scream. "I need an ambulance to 922 Spruce Lane, apartment 214" Kory says. He must be calling on his phone. "My friend .... He hit her. She is bleeding and unconscious" he continues. I wait patiently until he is done. I am texting everyone on a group text. Everyone is freaking out. "Josh you need to fly here" he says. "Kory I am booking my flight now. Take care of her" I say as I race to our room to quickly pack. Her parents and Rachel all book the same flight as we talk on the phone. I need to get to her now!
Her parents,Rachel and I sit in the taxi on the way to the hospital. I see Kory pacing at the front entrance waiting for us. His arm is in a sling and his face is all gashed. I hop out of the car and race to him. "Kory oh my god" I say looking him up and down. I lightly hug him not wanting to hurt him."She is in ICU Josh. I am sorry. I tried to..." he breaks down as Gwen hugs him. "Who Kory?" I ask crying as we all race into the hospital. I press the elevator button and wait for Kory to tell me. "Brian" he says watching me. "Her old manager?" I ask almost screaming. He nods as Rachel rubs my back to calm me down. "I knocked him out with a chair. He has been arrested" Kory says. "but Colleen was already down" he cries. Gwen and Tim are crying listening as well. We step off the elevator and Kory leads us down a hall until I see her name on the door outside her room. "Joshua come on" Gwen says leading me in slowly as I froze. We walk in and don't see any movement. I see her feet and then slowly look at her until I reach her face. Her head is completely bandaged and she has oxygen on with her eyes shut. I race up to her. "Baby I am here sweetheart. You are safe now" I cry. Rachel grabs her other hand sobbing. "She hasn't woken up yet. The doctors just finished with her while I was waiting for you so I haven't spoken to them. They want family" he says sitting down beside her holding his broken arm. "Kory you are our family. Always" I say grabbing his shoulder.
