Colleen POV
I lay in my bed night after night with Josh and mostly just stare at him sleeping. He is my everything. He does everything for me as well. I am usually too tired to move or walk around a lot but when daybreak hits today we are going shopping as I get induced the day after. I sit up on the side of the bed slowly not to wake him and shuffle down the hall. I walk into the nursery and smile as I look around. My family have done everything in preparation for the baby. I look at the beautiful crib to the tiny little clothes hanging in the closet. This was always my dream. Tears run down my face as I pray to be healthy after my treatments so I can be here for my baby and Josh. I kneel down in front of the closet and grab the package of diapers and rip them open and start placing them into the wicker baskets Rachel just bought me until I hear foot steps behind me. "Baby come to bed" Josh says quietly. "I will in a few" I say in my own world as I place diapers in the change table. He kneels beside me rubbing my back. I lean back to him smiling as I wrap my arms around him. "Happy" I mutter. He kisses the top of my head but I can feel him nod as well. "This baby has everything" he says looking across the room. "Yup except a stroller" I say knowing that we are doing that together today. I hear Josh crying a bit. I lean into him tighter and cling onto him. "I will make it baby" I say. "Not worried, just happy Colleen" he says but I know he is lying. "Lets go back to bed" I say standing up with his help. We crawl back into bed and I am kissing his neck as he rubs my belly. This moment is so precious to me.
We get up later that morning and we head to the Baby store. I walk up to the stroller section and one of the employees comes up to us asking if we need help. "Oh my god...Joshleen!" She says holding her hands over her mouth. Josh laughs as he hugs me. "Ok sorry" she says composing herself. She walks us through all of the features and we finally select one. She has one assembled and Josh pushes it out. I stand at the cashier counter crying watching him. The sales girl smiles. "You will be amazing parents. I gave you the employee discount" she says handing me my receipt. "Thank you so much" I say as Josh now joins me. "In thanks for discount here is a secret no one knows but our families. The baby will be born tomorrow" I say smiling. She nods crying holding her hands to her face. "I won't tell a soul" she says as we start to walk away. Us pushing our stroller out together. Feels so weird but so right all in one feeling. I am ready.
