Joshua POV
"Mr Evans your daughter is here" I hear a voice say to me as I sit on my phone talking to my parents outside of Colleens room as she sleeps. "Momma, Juliana is here. I will facetime you" I say starting to cry as I stand up to see the nurse."Can I just check your wristband to verify" she asks. I nod and hold out my wrist. It shows my name and Colleens name and Juliana's wristband says the same to make sure they have the right baby with the right parent. "Doctors checked her out. She is perfect. No heart issues. Congratulations" she says as she passes her to me. I nod crying as I stare down at her. I sit back down in the chair and lay her on my lap as I call my parents. I facetime them and my dad immediately answers. "Dad she is perfect. She has no issues" I say sobbing as my hand lays on her belly. "Son, your mother and I are thrilled for you and Colleen. Congratulations!" he says bringing my Momma into the camera shot. "Now lets see her" he says laughing. I nod laughing and spin my camera around to face her. "Joshua she is stunning. Look at her eyes. She has your eyes Joshua" my Momma cries. "I know" I reply. "I love her Momma so much" I say turning the camera back towards me. "Joshua you will love her more each day as we love you and you brother and sister. Now you will see what it is like to be a dad" she says. I nod smiling. "I love you guys. See you in a few days. I am going to wake up Colleen" I say ending the call. I scoop Juliana up in my arms and carefully open the door slowly peaking in to see Colleen curled up. She is pale. Really pale. I walk back out to the nurses station. "I just went to go see Colleen and she is super pale. I worry about her blood levels" I say as a nurse gets up and follows me while putting on gloves. We walk back into Colleens room and the nurse looks at her and nods to me as if in agreeance. "Let me go get a needle to draw some blood" she says and quickly scoots out of the room. I walk up to the side of her bed and kiss her forehead as Juliana makes baby sounds. I see Colleens eyes open and stare at us not quite registering she is awake yet. "Your daughter wanted to say hello baby" I say smiling. Colleen is motionless as she stares between her and I. "Baby?" I ask concerned as I place Juliana down in the bassinet the nurse left. "Who are you?" she asks pulling away from me.
