Josh POV
I carry her back to our bed and sit beside her as we wait for the doctor to come. I am holding her hand as she stares at me smiling. "Baby don't worry" she says quietly. "Worry is my middle name" I say wiping tears from my cheeks. "What do you think it will be babe, a girl or a boy?" she asks. "Don't care as long as you are both healthy" I say kissing her hand. "Josh" she says. "Yes hun" I say listening. "The doctor told me at my last visit that they will start treatment as soon as the baby is born" she says watching my reaction. "I want them too" I say reassuringly. "I want to wait so I can enjoy the baby at least for a month but they said they don't suggest that" she says. "Colleen, we need to get your treatments under way. Rachel and your Mom both said they would help me and stay here with my sister. We will be fine" I say running my hands through her hair. She nods with tears in her eyes. "Josh?" she asks. "Yes?" I reply. "If I don't live long please make sure you love our baby enough for the both of us ok?" she says. I nod and start to cry. "Oh Colleen, you will be fine babe please" I say strongly. "Just promise me you will think of our love when you look at our child" she says. I nod as I lean down and hug her until the door opens behind us. "Hi Josh, Colleen. Whats going on?" Dr.Trass, Colleens doctors asks. "Stomach pain" Colleen says pointing at her lower abdomen. The doctor nods and takes blood and starts feeling around her stomach. He looks at us slowly. "Colleen, I think I want to admit you" he says. "Why?" I ask panicked. "Josh, she has an infection. Nothing major but we can take care of it better with IV antibiotics. Plus I think your wife here is not relaxing so forcing her into a hospital might do her some good" he says smiling as he packs up his things. I nod smiling at Colleen. "I will meet you at the hospital. Just come to the OBGYN ward ok?" he says. I nod. I look at Colleen and she looks scared. "Baby what do you want me to pack?" I ask to get her mind off of it. "Uh, two onesies, some underwear and my robe and slippers my Mom bought me" she says. "Ok" I say as I grab a bag and throw a bunch of stuff into it as well as her hairbrush and toothbrush. I throw some chapstick and socks in as well. I see Colleen swing her legs over the side of the bed and stare at me. "Going to shower and will be right out" she says. I nod and watch her walk into the bathroom and shut the door. I hear the water turn on and I break. I sob. I am terrified.
