Josh Pov
I flew in to check on Colleen. She is working herself to death literally. I see her finish her last scene and walk towards me. I look at the time on my phone. 2:43am. This is insane. She makes her way closer and I stand up to hold her up. She falls against my chest and I scoop her up. Everyone is looking at us as I carry her sleeping against me. I look at her so pale. Kory runs ahead of me with the car keys until I hear the director shout he needs one more shot. I turn around and stare at him. "Really?" I ask pissed off. He nods. "Baby, they need one more shot" I say quietly to wake her. She nods and I hold her up as we walk together to her starting off spot. I look at her face. "Baby can you stand?"'I whisper. "I am good" she says softly. I let go of her and stand about 10 feet behind her. They start shooting and its amazing how she wakes right up and continues filming. Finally now they are done. She catches my eye and I move my way towards her. "Lets go" I say as I wrap my arm around her. She stands against me and we make our way to the car once more. I sit her down and one of the stage crew comes running out with the director. "We need one more take" he shouts. "No sorry. Taking her home. She has been on set since 5 am" I say closing her door. "Sorry but we need her" the director says. "Can't help you" I say annoyed making my way to the drivers side as Kory jumps in the backseat. "Josh, I need her" the director says again. I jump back up from my seat and stand eye to eye with him. "She needs sleep and I am taking her home" I say. He looks pissed. I lean into him. "She is pregnant" I say knowing he doesn't know but wanting him to understand. He looks shocked. "She didn't tell me" he says quietly. " I know. Thats why I am" I say as I leave him standing there in shock. I climb into the car and see her sleeping and I am so glad I came. We drive home and I get her into bed. She snuggles against me as I kiss her forehead a million times and I rub her belly. "I love you Joshua" she whispers in the complete darkness. I pull her close to me. "I love you and our baby more. Sleep princess" I say.
I feel her stir a few hours later and she jets up from bed and crashes down onto the hard bathroom floor vomiting into the toilet. I sit beside her holding her hair. She finishes and looks at me. "Ok sweetheart?" I ask upset. "Just pregnancy stuff baby. I am ok" she says leaning against me as I lean back onto the bathroom cabinets. She climbs onto my lap and I wrap my arms around her. My beautiful pregnant wife whom I love so much is safe and sound. I am exactly where I need to be for her and for us.
