Josh POV
"Baby!" I say shaking Colleen. I feel hands on my shoulders lifting me from my chair. "Mr Evans come with us ok?" the sweet nurse says. "My wife?" I cry. "We are working on her" she says. I keep turning around staring at her as I get ushered out of the room. I look to my left quickly and see Lily in the incubator. The nurse must sense me looking at her. "I will bring you your daughter" she says as she sits me outside the room in a waiting room. I see the doors open and she is carrying Lily smiling. "She is so pretty" the nurse says staring at her. "Are you ok to hold her?" the nurse asks me. I nod. She lowers her into my arms and I start to cry as the nurse bends down to me. Lily just stares at me as I grab her tiny hand. "Hi Lily" I whisper. She just looks around. "Colleen will she be ok?" I ask the nurse. "She should be" she says. "There are a whole bunch of people asking about you guys in the general public waiting room. Do you want to walk out with me to show them Lily?" she asks. I nod and stand up with them. We walk down the hallway and I see Tim, Colleens dad sitting talking to someone through the doorway. He sees me and stands up as I see the entire family come around the corner looking down the hall at me. I see hands over their faces as they see me carry Lily. The nurse opens the door and I walk through. "Its a girl!" I say crying. Gwen side hugs me crying and so does Tim. I see Teeny and Heather hugging. I pass Lily to Gwen and hug Kory. "Josh whats wrong?" he asks. "They pushed me out of the room. Colleen she..." I start to say before I hear crying. "Is she ok? WHat happened?" everyone starts asking. "I don't know anything guys. I need a hug please" I say as they all surround me. I hear crying and feel hands wrap around me. I needed it to breathe. "Mr Evans, Colleen wants to see you and your daughter" the same nurse says smiling holding the door open for me. I quickly grab Lily and follow her to a recovery room. I see Colleen look at me and start to cry as she watches me approach with Lily. "Baby" I say kissing her lips. I pass her Lily and help her hold her. "She is beautiful" she says as her doctor approaches. " Josh" he says. I nod listening. "Her tumour hemorrhaged in the c section. We manage to save everything for now" he says. "Thank you so much" I say. I have my world back.
