Josh POV
"Colleen, why aren't you eating baby?" I ask grabbing her hand. She looks upset. She continues to look down and avoids eye contact. "Colleen, talk to me" I say getting more concerned by the second. She looks up at me and squeezes my hand. "I didn't want to tell you that I wasn't feeling well" she says. "You should have Colleen. We could have ordered in and relaxed" I say standing her up and pull her into me wrapping my arms around her. "How long have you been unwell baby?" I ask. "Just since this morning" she says. The waiter then comes by and asks us if we are ok. "Can you wrap this all up. We need to leave" I say to him. The waiter starts to grab our plates. "No,no,no Josh. Lets finish please" she says as I hold her face looking into her eyes. "Colleen why are you almost crying?" I say quietly. "I just feel bad for wrecking your good mood" she says. "We are staying" she says smiling to the waiter as she sits down. I smile to the waiter and sit down slowly as I watch her. "You sure?" I ask. "I am good" she says chewing on another piece of sushi. I slowly go back to my food but definitely keep my eye on her the rest of the dinner. She is my world.
We get back to the apartment and she seems better. She unlocks the door and we walk into a dark hallway. I hear her flick on the lights. The lights come on and I look around as she leads me around. "This place is amazing" I say as she smiles leading me through. I walk over to the window and stare at the twinkly nights of Vancouver below us as I feel arms wrap around me. "Doing ok baby?" I ask spinning towards her. She looks tired. "Have a headache" she says sinking into my chest. I hold her head against me kissing into her scalp. "You are making me worried. You didn't eat much " I say as she goes quiet again. "Lets go lay down ok?" she asks. I nod and we walk to the bedroom. She walks away from me and closes the blinds in her room as I take my clothes off and grab my toothbrush from my bag. I see her come over to my bags and starts taking clothes out and putting them into the closet. I walk over to her quickly. "Colleen we can do that tomorrow ok?" I say. She nods and starts to walk over to her side of the bed and gets down to her tshirt and underwear and climbs into bed as I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth. I finish up and walk into our room and see her sleeping with her blankie tucked under her hands against her chin. I smile and crawl into bed slowly making sure I don't rock the bed. I pull the covers on top of me and watch her sleep. Something is going on with her that she isn't telling me. I will find out.
