Colleen POV
I have left to go to some meetings in Vancouver for just 3 days with Kory. We are just finalizing dates and contracts for now. I sit beside Kory on the plane and close my eyes and I feel him grab my hand. I open my eyes and stare at him. "Kory whats wrong?" I ask. "I am just glad you are back to normal" he says with tears in his eyes. "Kory don't start" I say giggling to avoid crying. "Seriously Colleen. I love you" he says. I nod and hug him. We wipe a few tears and start talking about meetings for the next three days. "Is Josh happy about you getting your next season?" he asks. "No" I say. "I can understand" he says. I don't say a word and stare at the screen welling up. "Colleen" he says trying to get me to look at him. "He feels he almost lost you once...it is terrible. Be kind to him ok?" he says. I nod and smile. Kory is right. I have to understand where Josh is coming from and his feelings. I smile to myself thinking of his hug as he dropped as off at the airport this morning. "I love you babe" he says nestled in my ear. I rub his back. "Babe I love you too. Only 3 days ok sweetheart?" I say staring at him now.He nodded but was so sad. I grabbed his face and kissed him good to the point I forgot we were at the airport until I heard Kory clear his throat. I love him. I am so lucky.
We land in Vancouver and start to head to our apartment to drop off our stuff before heading to a 2pm meeting. "Want lunch?" Kory asks. "Pizza" I say excitedly. He phones our favourite place for delivery as I start unpacking. My phone rings as it lays on the bed and I see its Josh calling. I texted him earlier that we got here safe as he requested. "Josh babe" I say smoothly into the phone. "Hi baby. Doing ok? Not too tired right?" he asks panicked. I start to laugh. "No babe, Kory is ordering us lunch" I say laughing. "Just making sure sweetheart" he says. "Baby I love you" I say. "I am sorry" I say. "For?" he asks getting upset. "Being a bitch" I say laughing. "Just love you" he says quietly. We talk for a little longer until I hear the apartment doorbell go off. "Thought you said Kory just ordered?" Josh asks. "Ya he did. Its only been like 10 minutes" I reply shocked. I hear Kory answer the door and then a lot of rumbling. "Joshua something is happening" I say starting to cry. "Colleen what?" he says upset. "Someone is here that shouldn't be it sounds like" I say as I peak around the corner. "She isn't here" Kory says. As I see who it is I understand why he is saying that. "Joshua call the police babe" I say crying.
