CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

-----------------------------------

NIALL POV

Janice was at the door, she let Sonia come inside her apartment.

I tried to tell her to let me in too, but once I started talking, trying to ask her what I was doing wrong, she slammed the door in my face.

It was really important, I really needed to talk.

"OPEN THE DOOR! JANICE PLEASE WE NEED TO TALK! I WON'T TAKE UP A LOT OF YOUR TIME PLEASE JUST OPEN THE F*CKING DOOR DAMMIT!!!"

I was banging on the door at this point. I guess I made a lot of commotion because suddenly, Danielle, Leslie, and the guys ran outside to see what was going on.

Liam ran up to me and pulled me away from the door. "What's going on mate? Why are you trying to bust her door?" he asked.

I was frustrated at this point, I wanted to cry, only because I was angry that she refused to talk to me.

"She won't let me talk to her and I don't know why! I need to clear things up. I don't want to hurt her, I never meant to. I just want to make things right. I don't understand why she keeps ignoring me!"

"She knows."

Everyone turned to Danielle standing in the doorway.

"What do you mean she knows?" I slowly began to walk towards her.

"When me and Sonia were talking the other day, she told me everything. The day of the party, after she was done getting ready, she came downstairs and saw you guys making out in the hallway. That's the reason she left, not because she was sick. And she left with her parents to get away from both of you. You guys hurt her really bad. It was bad enough for me and Liam to catch you, but for her to witness that? No, it was too much for her to handle. Especially since she caught you the FIRST time."

"C'mon, we were drunk." I said.

"Are you drunk now though?" She walked back inside the apartment and the guys followed.

"This is why I need to talk to her! It was an accident dammit! F*ck this, I'm going for a drive."

"Do you want me to go?" Leslie asked.

"No. You stay here, I'll be back later."

I sped towards the front, walked out onto the sidewalk, and got into my car.

I didn't know where I was going. I honestly had no idea Janice knew. I guess those were the footsteps I heard that night. I never bothered to turn.

I was an idiot.

But, I shouldn't feel too bad right? I mean, I didn't want to go out with her in the first place.

But it was her best friend.

But I didn't lead her on or anything?

I don't know, and right now, I didn't care, I just needed to get my mind off of things for a while.
