Friday night. Oh man, did {F/N} need a drink. School had been rough, work had been busy, and 'spare time' was a word that had been erased from her dictionary.
Her attitude was greatly affected too, and whenever that happened, she felt sorry for every poor soul crossing her path.
A young boy noticed the girl sitting alone and decided to be friendly, stopping next to her. {F/N} turned her head to see what he was doing but averted her gaze soon after, not really in the mood for a conversation.
"Is this seat empty?" He asked, trying to remain as kind as possible.
"Yeah, and so is this one the moment you sit down."
Poor guy.
"Could I get you a drink, then?"
"I'd rather take the money."
"Can I at least have your name?"
"Why? Is yours not good enough?"
The teen scrunched his brows as he looked at her, wondering why she was so stubborn but accepting the challenge. He kind of liked her attitude.
"I really think I could make you happy if you'd let me."
"Why? Are you leaving me alone?"
It only hit her about now that she was being a total dick to him, but somewhere she was having fun and he seemed persistent enough to keep going.
"What's a pretty girl like you doing here by herself?" He asked, taking the seat next to her and watching as she flashed a tiny smirk.
"I saw you and ended up here. What brought you here?"
The fact that she started to ask genuine questions told him that his patience paid off, and a faint smile played on his lips as he ordered the two of them a drink. "Probably the same reason you ended up here. Busy day, need something to give me some freedom."
{F/N} watched him down the shot and sweatdropped a little, chuckling when hearing his next statement.
"Wanna get drunk and make some bad decisions?"
She pushed her shot towards him and laughed, "You look like you already are, and I think you just did."
He trailed her arm with his fingers and grinned sheepishly, making her wonder if he'd really get drunk that fast.
"Are you a magician?" Yeah, definitely drunk.
"Because abraca-dayum!"
"Say that again and I'll show you a magic trick. Watch me disappear."
The brunette shook his head and ran a hand through his hair, "Okay, that one was pretty cheesy. But have you felt my shirt? You should, it's made out of boyfriend material."
{F/N} pointed at it with a goofy smile and took the shot she pushed towards him earlier back, downing it before laughing. "Nah, it looks a little clingy and too hard to maintain."
He pursed his lips and took a deep breath, regretting the last pick-up line he could think off. "I have one more trick up my sleeve. If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together."
"Good thing N and O are already together. But if you really want to rearrange them that badly, why don't you put F and U together?"
"Oh? That's what you want to do? That can be arranged. Your place or mine?"
{F/N} sighed before smiling and dropped her hands on the bar, rolling her eyes at the thought.
"How about both? You go to yours and I go to mine."
"Touché. I'll give you this one." He held out his hand for her to shake and grinned, "Yahaba Shigeru."
"{L/N} {F/N}. I had fun with you tonight."
"Ditto. We could always have some more fun."
She playfully pushed his head away and laughed, "Sorry bud, but I left my V-Card at home. But we could always watch a movie?"
"Good enough. Let's go."
He put some money on the counter to pay for the drinks and grabbed the girl's hand, dragging her out of the bar and making the two of them laugh as they ran. Rain began to pour and he picked up the speed of his run, guiding {F/N} to a shelter and holding her close to him as the two fought to stay out of the downfall.
{F/N} couldn't help but chuckle at the situation and actually relaxed a little when listening to how soothing his heartbeat was, making her smile against his chest as his grip tightened.
"Who would've thought that those pick-up lines would turn into something cheesy like this?" Yahaba cursed, trying to hide the blush on his face as he had to take a step back to keep her from getting wet.
"Well, the pick-up lines were pretty cheesy too. All and all, I'm not complaining."
"How did you get here, anyways? Did you walk?"
{F/N} nodded slightly, "Yeah. I don't live too far from here."
"Let's make a run for my car, then. I'll drop you off."
He pointed at his car and wrapped one side of his jacket over her head, trying to keep her as dry as possible whilst desperately wanting to reach his vehicle.
When the two of them made it, {F/N} crashed down in the passenger's seat and let out a relieved sigh, enjoying the rain drops so much more now that she was dry.
Yahaba raked a hand through his wet hair and shot a peek at her, smiling softly when seeing her so calm and happy in a crappy situation like this.
"You're an optimistic one, aren't you?" He asked, to which she turned her head.
"Not really, but I'm having fun with you. So it doesn't really matter."
"It's kind of sketchy to just follow a stranger into his car, don't you think?"
She sighed, "You're not a stranger."
"I'm not?"
{F/N} blushed brightly as she pulled him close and kissed his lips, soon hiding her face in embarrassment. "No, you're not."
The boy was flustered by her action but felt his stomach grow restless, before he tapped her shoulder and waited for her to turn her head back.
As soon as she did her lips met his again, and it wasn't long before her hands found a way into his hair.
When pulling away, he smiled. "Maybe I might get my fun, after all."
"Shut up."

I feel like Yahaba would be so tough and stuff around friends, but that he'd be really shy whenever he's on his own, don't you think? Also, I officially hate 13-06-2016 (or 06-13-2016 for non-Europeans) and Friday the 13th is awful.
