Kenma sighed when {F/N} was on his doorstep. This must've been the third time this week, and even though he enjoyed spending time with her, this wasn't what he had in mind.

"You caught them all yesterday, right?" He carefully asked, but the grin on her face hadn't disappeared.

"Yes, but," She grabbed her phone and showed the new update, "They added the second generation. Please?"

He nodded quietly before going back into his apartment to put on his shoes, surprised when Yaku had finally gotten out of his room and was waiting for him on the couch. "I don't get why you're hesitating so much. You like playing games and you like {F/N}. Isn't it the ideal situation?"

Kenma sighed once again, "You're only saying that because you like {F/N} but {F/N} doesn't like you." He grabbed his bag and left, just in time to escape Yaku's yells and whines.

{F/N} was alarmed by the sounds, "Is he... Okay in there?"

Kenma nodded before hiding his hands in his pockets, his hoodie pulled over his head as he quietly looked at the sidewalk ahead of him.

{F/N} launched the game again and was squealing every time she found a new Pokémon, which made Kenma fight the urge to smile. Of course he would never admit it, but he really did enjoy hanging out with {F/N}. He admired the glint she gained in her eyes as she searched for Pokémon, and he loved the way she'd cheer when she finally caught one. He cost her a lot of energy, but he didn't exactly mind. Besides, if he wasn't interested, Yaku would come in and sweep {F/N} away from him. That wasn't something he wanted.

"Kenma, Kenma, here's another one!" {F/N} tugged the boy's arm and dragged him down alleys and sidewalks, through parks and trees to try and catch them all. Kenma was starting to get tired from all the walking, but the smiles {F/N} showed him were enough for him to keep going.

"One more," She promised, "And then we can go to a café for a break, okay?"

Kenma simply nodded and watched her catch a final Pokéman as promised, before they started heading back to the first park they encountered, as there was a shopping street nearby. {F/N} pondered her option and eventually settled with a donut shop, the two of them heading in together and choosing a table next to the window to sit down in.

It was their usual routine – go out catching Pokémon, go to a café, catch some more Pokémon, play a few games at Kenma's place and then go home.

{F/N} ordered her usual donut with a milkshake and waited for Kenma to order, blushing a little when catching him smile when he had finally decided. It had been a while since she had seen him smile, and she had to admit that she enjoyed seeing it and wanted to see it more. It was what made her fall in love with him, after all.

It wasn't long before their food came, and as soon as they got it, they began eating and practically remained silent. Kenma suddenly remembered Yaku's statement earlier that day, and started to think about it. He wasn't wrong – he really liked {F/N}. But did she even like him? Who would've thought he'd be thinking about that?

{F/N} noticed the distraught look on Kenma's face and wanted to ask about it, but when he suddenly snapped out of it, she was hesitant. That was, until he grabbed his PSP and went back to normal. Somewhat.

"Do you like me?"

{F/N} was taken aback by the question itself, but also by the monotone tone that he used when asking it.

"Kuroo said you liked me."

{F/N} didn't know what to say. Kuroo promised he wouldn't say. She knew telling him was a bad idea to begin with, but she trusted him a little more than this. She fiddled with her fingers and looked down at the hands in her lap, suddenly nervous. Should she have told him? Would he even feel the same?

Kenma was surprised when he hadn't gotten an answer and looked up from his game, seeing {F/N} completely distraught. "I see." He nodded, "So he was right."

"I-I suppose so..."

{F/N} was disappointed. His reaction already showed her that he wasn't into her.

"That's okay," He then added, "I like you too."

{F/N} stopped fiddling with her fingers and stopped blinking, also unintentionally holding her breath for a moment as she processed what he said. "Y-You... You do?"

Kenma nodded quietly as he resumed his game, not failing to catch the bright smile on {F/N}'s face from the corner of his eyes. A small smile formed on his lips as well as he continued to sneak peeks at her smile, in turn not even being upset when he died and lost all of his lives and had to start over.

"Does that mean you'd... Be my boyfriend?" She then nervously asked, to which Kenma hummed and nodded.

"Of course I will."

I'm sorry that it's a little bit shorter and took so overwhelmingly long, but I finally got it! I hope it was somewhat like you expected and I really hope you were able to enjoy it!
