« Wanna have some fun? » || Terushima Yūji x Reader

Even though {F/N} had been Terushima's best friend for over a year now, she'd never had the time to come and watch him play. Since she was in Class 7 just like him, both of them were focussed on school a lot and didn't have much time to actually sit down and talk about what was going on.

But, since there were no tests coming up any time soon, she decided to surprise him by coming to watch his match. She had been talking to his teammates about this for a while, and they made sure she'd get a spot with the coaches so she could see everything first hand.

With her coat hanging over your arms, {F/N} sat down next to Hana and raised the hood of her hoodie over her head. She wanted him to know that she was there, but not this early in the game.

"How long have they been playing?" {F/N} asked, following the finger Hana pointed at the score.

"Still on their first set. They're not taking it very seriously, as usual."

The girl tilted her head, "Really? He always talks so high and mighty about the team, and that he always has fun when playing."

Hana snorted and crossed her arms, seeing a point being scored by their opponent. "Oh, they have fun, alright. Just wait and see..."

Wondering what she meant, {F/N} focussed on the ongoing game and stared in awe when seeing Johzenji's play style. It wasn't like anything she had ever seen before – they seemed to have no idea on what they were doing.

However, now that they realized how much fun they were having, they seemed to be fired up and actually get a lot of points in. With her lips parted, she was amazed by how they could have so much fun and be good at the game.

Hana noticed how fascinated she was and laughed, "You should ask him about it when the match is over. I think he'd love to tell you. You're all he talks about during practice."

This brought a blush to her face – did he really?

The match had ended and Johzenji team had lost, but they played with fun until the bitter end. Besides, they made it to the third set – that had to be good for something, right?

"Should I tell him you're here now?" Hana asked, earning a nod from {F/N} before stalking over to the taller male.

A finger was pointed in her direction and the male looked at her, not recognizing her with her hood up. But, since he was the captain, he couldn't just turn her down, so he eventually walked over.

"Hey! Can I help you?" He asked, putting that familiar smile of his on his face.

{F/N} took off her hood and smiled, "The way you guys played was amazing! How can you have so much fun and be so good?!"

Terushima finally realized who he was talking to and was surprised to see the girl here, locking her in an embrace when it hit him she came to watch them play. "We do just like you say, {F/N}-san! We have fun."

The boy grabbed her hand to introduce her to the other team members, not realizing she knew all of them very well already.

"Now that the team and I had some fun," He then started again, a smirk covering his face. "Do you want to have some fun?"

A little bit scared by what he meant, the teen backed away slightly. "Define your idea of 'fun'..."

He started scratching the back of his neck and shook his head, not understanding why she was so distant all of a sudden. "I don't know, catch a movie or eat at a fancy restaurant sometime in the near future."

"Oh. Well, if you put it that way... Sure, why not?"

Taking a big jump into the air, the blond cheered at just scoring a date with her.

"Yahoo!"

{F/N} couldn't help but laugh at this, before suddenly being pulled closer to him and feeling their lips meet.

Flustered when he pulled away, Terushima laughed. "I'll pick you up at seven tomorrow!"

I'm in the middle of rewatching Haikyuu!! because I can't live with the fact I have to wait till Autumn for Season 3. It's really weird going from S1E6 to like S2E-whatever it was just to check Johzenji's play style again... Hope you guys enjoyed!
