With a cup of hot tea, {F/N} sat in front of the fireplace of her home. It had been two days since she had last spoken to any of the Karasuno volleyball players, taking into account that she and the team had a bit of a fall-out.
She really regretted what she said, and so did they, but none of them had the courage to go back and apologize. To be honest, she had been avoiding everyone she came across and even switched places in class to be as far away from them as possible.
Long story short – yes, it was that bad.
As she stared at the flames intently, she couldn't help but replay the things she said.
"I don't do much? I'm what keeps this team in check!"
"Whatever. I'm better off without you guys anyways."
"Break an arm or something, for all I care."
{F/N}'s hands tightened around the cup in her hands and she was so angry for allowing herself to say stuff like that, especially since she had said things that were even worse than that. Not to forget, the boys were pretty upset with themselves too.
Nonetheless, they knew that if they'd all show up at her place, she'd just shut the door on them. So, trying to play it smart, they decided to send one person over to beg for her forgiveness.
{F/N}'s doorbell rang and she hoped that her mom would get it since she was closer, but she completely ignored it – which meant {F/N} had to go and get it herself. Making sure the blanket was over her head and draped around her shoulders, she sauntered to the door with the cup in her hand.
The doorbell rang again and she heaved a sigh, shrugging her shoulders slightly. "I'm on my way..."
She finally made it to the door and opened it, seeing the familiar face of Asahi in front of her.
"Oh, it's you."
{F/N} didn't shut the door on him, but she wasn't too thrilled about seeing one of the volleyball players on her doorstep. Even though Asahi was a long time crush of hers, she had a hard time putting that aside from the argument.
The boy looked at her figure with worry and guilt in his eyes, shutting the door behind him and following her to the living room.
"Couch is all yours." She said, sitting back down in front of the fireplace with her back turned to him.
None of them spoke for a while, but when she was ready to apologize, so was he.
"I'm really sorry." Both of them said in unison, making them snap their heads at one another.
"D-Don't apologize!" The both of them then said, failing to desync in speech.
"I'm sorry about saying those horrible things to you guys. I didn't really mean it, I just... I was just really mad."
Asahi shook his head, "W-We're sorry! Exams are coming up and all of us are just a bit stressed out... W-We didn't mean to take it out on you. You're important to us, you know?"
He lowered his voice and averted his gaze from hers, "And you're important to me."
He thought he was quiet enough for {F/N} not to hear since he was very shy about it, but when seeing how she smiled when he said that, he knew he had failed.
"Seems like someone has a crush~" She teased, seeing his face flush a shade of red. "Don't sweat it! I do too."
"A crush on you?"
The girl smirked at how he just admitted his feelings but laughed soon after, "No, a crush on you, dummy."
The boy was surprised by her words – did she really mean that? "R-Really?"
"Mhm," {F/N} hummed, getting up from the floor and throwing herself on the couch, next to him. "It's kinda hard for me to be around the team knowing that. I can't keep my eyes off you when you guys train, but since we were all in a fight and stuff I really missed it."
Asahi was still trying to take this all in as he unknowingly grabbed her hands, looking her straight into the eyes and trying not to laugh.
"What?" She asked, pouting for not knowing what was funny.
"It's hard to ask a serious question with that blanket over your head."
The girl heaved a sigh and threw the blanket off, hoping he'd hurry up – it wasn't exactly warm. "Better?"
"Better. {F/N}, w-would you go out with m-me sometime?"
She smiled softly and nodded, "Yes, of course I would. But now I'm cold."
{F/N} shivered yet again and was pulled in for a loving hug, hearing him laugh slightly at the teen's flustered reaction.
"Better?"
"Better."

Extra ~
Asahi left {F/N}'s house after dinner that night and apparently had the entire volleyball team waiting for him outside.
"How'd it go?" Daichi asked, eyeing Suga in the process.
"P-Pretty good," He replied. "Argument's c-cleared up."
The two other third years exchanged another glance and smirked, "And...?"
They left a suggestive pause for him to finish, knowing that more than that had happened if he came out so late.
"And {F-F/N} is my girlfriend now..."
Noya and Tanaka jumped at him and started congratulating him, leaving the rest of the team awkwardly watching, not knowing the girl was laughing when looking at them through the window.

I'm not completely satisfied with this, but Asahi's really hard to me for some reason. Hope it was still fun to read ;w;
