There's an A/N at the end :)

Autumn. Oh, how {F/N} loved it.
The browns, the reds, the oranges, the yellows — she loved how the hues colored the once lively city around her.
It was a season where to her, the air felt fresher, the sky seemed clearer, and the temperature finally dropped to something more enjoyable. The thought of walking through fallen leaves with a Starbucks cup in her hands made her stomach tingle, and wrapping her favorite red scarf around her neck and watching her breath turn to vapor brought a small smile to her face.
She couldn't help but feel the need to escape her apartment; to escape her busy college life and to close her eyes as she wandered outside, listening to the birds singing their songs and the squirrels rustling the grounded leaves.
Thinking about Autumn kept her at the edge of her seat, restlessly moving her feet as she waited for the hours to pass and for the season to change. She was in desperate need of an escape.

And her escape came.
{F/N} smiled shyly as she looked out of her window, seeing the green grass overtaken by the fallen leaves she waited so eagerly for. She heard the birds, she saw the squirrels, and before she could get a grip on herself, she already found her fingers laced around her red scarf. She wrapped it around her neck slowly, fiddling with the fabric, cherishing its feel by pulling it over her mouth slightly, a smile on her face.
She grabbed her beige coat, flicking at the wrinkles below her knees and headed out, face burried in her scarf before she found herself on the sidewalk. She pulled the fabric down slightly, breathed out and smiled a bright smile when seeing her breath turn to vapor. She instantly felt her tense muscles relax at the colder temperature, leaving her hungry for her Starbucks coffee.
She followed the sidewalk, her eyes scanning the little shops around her. The rush hour filled the street in an instant, and although it looked crowded to any other person, {F/N} found comfort in blending in.
She smiled once again, hiding her hands in her coat's pockets as she sub-consciously headed for her favorite coffee shop. She'd bump into people on occasion, apologizing to them, then sighing at the fact that she apologized to someone yet again when it was rather obvious that she wasn't the one at fault.
About three shops away, she bumped into a person again, apologizing once more and sighing as she turned around, losing her train of thoughts for a split second as a speck of white had filled her vision. A rabbit, and a rather small one at that, sat on the other end of the street, hopping to the end of it. {F/N} tilted her head at the sight of it — it was way too cold out for the fuzzy thing.
She quickly checked the road, seeing if it was safe to cross, then actually crossed, silently trailing behind the little rabbit. Mindlessly following the animal, she wondered why nobody else had bat an eye at it. Sure, it wasn't big, but it's fur was white as snow. At least someone should've noticed it.
She shook her head and set up a jog to catch up to the small thing, furrowing her brows slightly when seeing it disappear into a shop. She stopped in front of the building and scanned it from head to toe, a slight look of worry overtaking her facial expression. The shop looked old and rustic — the walls were made out of a worn-out brick, the windows were awfully dirty and the plants in front of it looked like they had been withering for quite a while now. Even so, {F/N} was curious about the rabbit's whereabouts.
