"Noya, I really don't want to..." {F/N} pouted, to which the libero circled the girl with a confused expression on his face.

"How can you not want to? Hula hooping is the most fun thing to do at a beach party!"

The boy grabbed {F/N}'s hand and dragged her towards the crowd that had gathered, pointing at the boy-girl duo in the middle that was wildly moving their hips in circles. "See? It's fun!"

"It's fun if you're good at it..." She mumbled in reply, eyes focussed on the warm beach sand that slowly began to cool down due to the time change.

"Hm?"

"Nothing."

Nishinoya scrunched his brows but continued to smile, doing whatever he could to get him and his girlfriend a hula hoop – which meant jumping up and down, as high as his tiny legs would take him.

{F/N} had to admit it was funny to see him try so hard, but to go hula hooping? She'd rather do limbo.

After a little while, the boy-girl duo stopped and pointed up ahead, aiming at one of their friends that had brought more hula hoops. It was kind of funny to think that the entire night program of the beach party was focussed on stuff like this.

Nishinoya managed to get his hands on two of the round rings and cheerfully brought them to {F/N}, who looked hesitant to accept it. To be fair, she had never even tried it – and she preferred to keep it that way. What if she was really bad at it?

"I-I really am fine, Noya... B-But you can do it! You don't need me for this..."

Nishinoya refused her rejection and pushed one of the hula hoops into her hands, getting the other one around his hips and laughing when she frowned. The expression on her face was one he had seen many times before – this was the face she'd make whenever she found something difficult, or, in this case, didn't know how to do. It wasn't long before he had the ring swirling around his hips either, which only put more pressure on {F/N}.

She looked at the hula hoop nervously before giving it an attempt, hiding her face behind her hands immediately after hearing the ring hit the sand.

Nishinoya smiled when seeing her so embarrassed, walking over to pat her head at her cute way of being flustered. She then removed her hands and was surprised to feel Nishinoya's lips on her nose, which made her cheeks burn even brighter.

"I believe in you! You can do this!"

"I-I really don't want to..."

The boy sighed but smirked, pointing a finger at himself confidently before taking his place next to her. "It's really easy! You just do this."

He began to circle his hips around and waited for {F/N} to follow his actions, frowning when she remained in place. "{F/N}! You gotta do it with me!"

"B-But-"

"No buts."

The girl sighed and felt her cheeks flushing red again as she began to circle her hips as well, picking up the pace when being asked to do so as Nishinoya slowly lowered the hula hoop over her. "Now keep moving like that, okay?"

He let go of the hula hoop when he was certain she would keep it going and took a step back, smiling when seeing her succeed. The face of success she showed made his smile even wider, and her cries of relief made his heart skip a beat.

"N-Noya, I'm doing it! I-I'm really doing it!"

Nishinoya cheered as well and pumped a fist into the air, a surprised look taking over his features when she suddenly stopped swaying her hips.

"That was actually kind of fun," She admitted, "So, incidentally, thank you. Thank you, Noya."

She stepped out of the hoop and approached her boyfriend, quickly pecking his lips before stealing his hoop. "And now I'm going to beat you at your own game. First one to drop loses."

This could've been a lot better, and I'm sorry for that. Hope it was still okay <3 (thanks FlutterMau for the idea!)
