"You need to eat something," Kuroo sighed, tossing a protein bar towards his teammate. "I haven't seen you eat a proper meal in days. It ain't like I care about what you're doing, but Nationals are coming up and the team needs you." His eyes rested on the figure before him, sprawled out on the couch of the club room. He hadn't seen any other sight for days.
Shibayama nodded, supporting Kuroo's claims. "There's bags under your eyes, too... Have you been getting enough rest, Yaku-san?"
Yaku groaned as he sat up, tossing the protein bar to the side. He didn't feel like eating. He didn't feel like sleeping. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't. Not while she was mad at him.
Kuroo leaned against the doorframe, and upon the contact, a silence overtook the room. The entire team had been worried about Yaku's sudden change, but they knew not to provoke him. No one had dared to ask him why his self-care routine suddenly plummeted.
"This is about {F/N}, isn't it?"
The already thick air seemed to thicken anymore. The first and second years looked around the room for an answer, though earned nothing but clueless looks from one another. Even Kai was at a loss.
"You know, moping around like this isn't going to fix anything between the two of you."
Yaku rolled his eyes. "You act like I don't know that. I've been trying to talk to her, but she's been ignoring my calls. She doesn't open the door for me when I tell her I'm coming over, either. Man, I really messed up!" His hands tugged at the strands of his hair, only adding to his frustration.
Suddenly, everything seemed to make sense to the teammates who had been silently worrying over their friend. They all knew that Yaku and {F/N} were head over heels for each other. It'd only make sense that having a fight with her was enough to make him sick.
Kuroo didn't understand the issue. "So, then just show up unannounced." He shrugged his shoulders, "It's literally that easy. I'm sick and tired of both of you sitting around and leaving things as they are. Explain the situation to her," he paused, "like you should've. Apologize. Do your best to get her back."

And so, Yaku found himself in the flower shop he and {F/N} used to frequent. It felt weird being there without her. The flowers' fragrances weren't as strong. Their colors weren't as bright. Something that used to be so meaningful to him had now lost all its meaning.
He turned to an employee for help, listing all the flowers he knew the girl loved. The employee made a selection and made him a bouquet, giving advice on how to take care of him. He already knew, but he listened to it anyways. He didn't want to upset another person.
With the flowers in hand he headed for her apartment, carefully practicing his words over and over again. He was going to tell her the truth; tell her the full story. It would be up to her what decision she would make afterwards. He exhaled loudly. He really hoped she would forgive him.
Upon reaching her doorstep, he looked at the wooden slate separating him from the one thing he cherished the most. Was it okay for him to just barge in on her like this? Would flowers be enough? Would she even consider his apology? He had a hard time controlling his trembling fingers as they reached for the doorbell.
Once it rang, he heard a pair of feet hastily shuffle towards the door. He took a deep breath as he watched it open, locking eyes with the figure who had been eagerly avoiding his presence. "Hey," he greeted nervously, "do you mind if I come in?"
