He ran his fingers over my cheek, getting his fingers tangled in my hair. "W-what are you doing?" I chocked out.

"I don't know." He whispered, he pulled me down and our lips were touching slightly. I was afraid to fully press my lips down. I didn't understand what was going on, why was he trying to kiss me?

"No one's here." I heard one of the police officer say and the door to the barn closed. Immediately, I sprung up from our hiding spot and let out a loud sigh. Alejandro remained on the floor looking at me with a expression I hadn't seen, ever.

"This isn't good..." He said underneath his breath.

"What?"

"Juliana! Alejandro!" Xavier screamed our names from down the barn.

He got up from the ground and took off the hay from his pants and hair. "Nothing." He grabbed onto my hand and led me back down the stairs.

"Come on, the coast is clear." Xavier led us out the barn and we went back towards the front of the ranch.

The entire time Ale gripped onto my hand as his life depended on it. I don't get him at all. Back there he wanted to kiss me, I couldn't see it in his eyes but his voice said it all. He had found the perfect excuse to kiss me instead of taking the opportunity-the chance any guy would take to kiss the girl, he dodged it.  Then, he says it's bad? What's bad-what's not good? The sensation of wanting to kiss me! He's a guy and I'm a girl there's a physical attraction there, there's nothing wrong with that. Yet, he makes it seem like the most horrible thing in the world? Why!

"I'd like my hand back." I looked down at my hand. He released his grip and continued to walk. Oh...Kay. We got to the truck and Demi and Maria were already waiting for us inside. Without another word we got I got he truck and left the ranch.

We didn't talk about where we hid when the police showed up. I didn't want my friends to know I went off with Ale and I am certain Ale wants the same. Pulling up the driveway of the ranch, Uncle Simon and Aunt Cassy were outside sitting on the bench.

"Oh boy." I exhaled. "We are fucked now." I unbuckled my seatbelt and got off the truck. They were going to chew us and spit us out all night. They can be linient when it comes to us going out but leaving the house in the middle of the night and leaving the house unlock are two rules they don't like to see broken.

"Fifty-bucks he makes us stay up all night again." Xavier muffled.

"Fifty-bucks he makes us clean the horse shed for the rest of the weekend." Alejandro proposed a better offer.

"Shut up!" I snapped. They don't take the punishments seriously, this is why they are always breaking rules. Rules don't exist in the fantasy world Ale and Xavier live in so they do what they want all the time. The sad part is no one tries to prove them otherwise. Most punishments they receive isn't even considered a punishment but a praise for their poor decisions.

Uncle Simon looked at us. We were all standing in front of him in a line, waiting to hear what they had to say. I prepared my ears for the screaming of my life. Although it wouldn't be the first time they would scream at us for breaking the rules.

"You three just don't learn, huh?" He sighed tiredly. "I wasn't even surprised this time around." He chuckled. It scared me since I had never seen him like this. By now he's be fuming and turning different shades of red. Yet, he was calm and talking normally.

"I want the horse shed to be cleaned, a door or two needs to be replaced, and the horses stalls need to be filled with hay. When I wake up tomorrow it better be done or you three won't be competing this year in the rodeo." He turned to look at Denise and Maria.
