When Gabriela announced to us about her relationship with William they continued to keep their relationship unknown. That was until someone from school saw them having dinner and showing explicit public display of affection (kissing, holding hands, feeding each other). You know the common relationship thing. When I arrived to school on Monday the entire school was gossiping how a legend stepped down from the game and settled down.
I expected Gabriela to freak out with the whispering happening in the hallway, but she remained calmed. William was beside her locker and they were chatting as if nothing was happening.
"So guess what the rumor is this week beside the now-known relationship of Gabriela and William." Demi said as I pulled out a book from my locker.
"What is it?"
"Girls are determined to get Alejandro to drop the game too and get into a serious relationship with him." She sounded a bit annoyed. "Like Alejandro would do such thing." She scoffed.
I furrowed my eyebrows to the middle. "I don't think any of the girls here are his type." I giggled.
"He has a type?" She asked curiously.
"Probably. It would explain why we never heard about his ex-girlfriend." Out of the years I have been knowing him, he has never brought up a girls he has dated. I don't think Alejandro has ever had a serious relationship before or even dated someone.
"But he'd be faithful to a girl if he did like her, right?"
I shrugged. "I suppose. I wouldn't know." I said truthfully.
She frowned.
Alejandro approached us with a exhausted look on his face. He leaned against his locker sighing heavy.
"I want to quit the play." He said, tiredly. "I've been in school since six in the morning for rehearsal."
"The play is in two-weeks. You got this." Demi encouraged him.
"You tried eating more than you can chew. Take it easy. Tell Uncle Simon school comes first before the competition and tell my mom you can't work everyday. Cut down the stress and focus on what is necessary for right now."
Demi and Ale stared at me, stunned. I had given helpful advice to Alejandro for the first time. Alejandro gave me a small smile, while Demi continued to look at me in a way I hadn't seen before.
"You're probably right. Like Demi said, I got this." He winked at her.
"So have you heard the newest rumor going around?" Enrique joined the group.
Alejandro shook his head. Demi and I gave each other a quick glance. Enrique is always late on the rumors going around the school, yet again he doesn't really care what people have to say.
"Some girls are determined to get you to quit the game and get you to settle down." He smirked.
Ale quickly rolled his eyes. "Girls here don't interest me enough to date them seriously."
"So no one catches your attention?" Demi questioned him curiously.
"Nah, I have too much on my plate to juggle a relationship." He chuckled embarrassedly. "I haven't even slept with a girl in a month. Which isn't great news but it's a start!" He quickly said the last part, throwing me a glare.
"What?" I snapped.
"You were going to say something." I wasn't. I hadn't kept up with his after-school activities. Since my date with Lucas I've kept my distance until this past weekend. Even then, he's been keeping his distance with me, since the talk from Saturday. He wanted me to tell Xavier about what is going on with me, but I can't. I can handle this problem on my own and i am grateful Alejandro took the fault for me.
