"Here." Alejandro handed me his black leather jacket as we met at the sidewalk. He had to park a few houses from the where the party was at from how full it was. Cars were line up all around the street, filling the long road.

I had mentioned to Ale how it was going to get chilly and I hadn't brought a jacket. He had his lying in the back and offered it to me. We walked quietly towards the house the music was blasting from. I'd be nervous attending a party with any other guy,  coming with Alejandro I was relaxed.

"So, how do you know people from Waller High?" I asked curiously.

He smirked. "The football captain is my cousin. He's bringing a few of my out of town cousins to the party." I stopped walking and crossed my arms against my chest.

"Don't worry, they're not going to see us. This isn't his house and my cousins been pre-gaming since five. They'll be too lit to pay attention to you." He read my mind. He reached over, grabbing my arm and pulled me behind him towards the house.

The aroma of alcohol penetrated my nostrils. Teenagers all around were against each other grinding. The house parties we throw aren't this packed or this kinky. Girls were wearing crop tops barely covering their breast. Their shorts covered half of their ass. The guys seemed to be enjoying it of course. I felt like I was at a college party (this is how I expect college parties to be) never been to one. Alejandro slid his hand over mine and his fingers filled the spaces between my own fingers.

I gulped. He's never done that before. The holding my hand thing. I stared at him.

"If I don't grab onto you, you'll get sunk into the vortex of grinders."

"I-erg. Okay." I said.

He turned back around and kept leading me towards the back of the house. Suddenly we stopped and Alejandro greeted a tall muscular guy. I wondered if it was his cousin but the same way they greeted each other they parted ways. Ale took me to the backyard where a whole different party was going on. People were dancing to the music in the patio, while others played beer pong at the end of the yard.

"What do you want to drink? Beer or liquor?"

"Liquor. Vodka preferably." I smiled cheekily at him.

He nodded. As he grabbed a bottle from the counter and started to present drink,a random guy appeared in front of me with a bottle of Amsterdam in his hand.

"Welcome to my party, every person has to take a sip out of this bottle." He gave me a killer smile.

Ale turned around and shook his head. "Gary!"

"Ale, my man. What's up. I didn't think you'd come through."

Ale shrugged. "After I heard about the end of the year party you threw last year, I had to see what the hype was about."

Gary smirked. "No one leaves here sober. That's my motto. Is she your girlfriend?" He pointed at me.

Alejandro shook his head. "Just a good friend." He stated.

Gary didn't seem to believe him. The raise of his eyebrow proved it. "Well, you have to drink from the bottle." He said to me.

"Alright, go." I opened my mouth and waited for him to pour vodka inside my mouth.

Ale cut the pouring short. "Okay, that's good. We don't need her to get too drunk too soon." He told Gary.

"Right." He chuckled." Your turn?" He offered Ale the bottle but he denied.

"Sticking to beer tonight."

Gary lowered the bottle and walked away from us. Alejandro handed me the red cup and I took a sip out of it. He had mixed the vodka with Sprite. It didn't taste so bad.

"Do you know people here, beside your cousin?" I asked the obvious.

He nodded. "Alex invites me to the parties from the school but I've only came three or four times. They're a little to crazy for my liking." He confessed. "Anyway, want to play beer pong?"

I nodded. We walked up to the table with the group of guys which were about to finish their game. Ale asked one of the guys if any one was next to play but they said we could go once the game was over. I take beer pong seriously and I like winning. I haven't seen him play before and I hope he's good at it.

Alejandro set up the cups for us and poured the beer inside the cup. The winner team gave us the first throw. I let Ale throw first, I wanted to see if he makes it. There's no logic to this game-I think. I like to say the persons first throw tells if they're good or not. He threw the ball and it hit the rim of the cup and fell to the ground.

"Seems like you suck." I scoffed.

"I'm warming up." He defended himself.

"Hmm, if you say so." I chuckled and threw the ball, scoring.
