"Come on, man. You'll get married in less than 5 months! Bakit parang mas excited pa kaming mga kaibigan mo kaysa sayo?" my bestfriend Dave asked.
"Shit man, don't tell me you're having cold feet ha?" Rich said.
We were playing ball with the other guys. Dave, Rich and I against JR, Sheldon and Matthew.
"Cold feet? Gago hindi. I'm just too stressed with work, that's all." sabi ko as I wipe the sweat off my face. "I'm beyond excited okay? Talagang natatambakan ako ng photoshoots ngayon because Liz wanted me to be hands on with the wedding preparations too."
"Hahaha. In other words pare, Liz wanted you to choose her over work. Yun yon." sabat naman ni Matthew.
"Ang tanong, can Elmo choose Liz over his dream?" sabi ni Sheldon and they all laughed.
"Shitheads. Of course I'll choose her over my job. She's my happiness. Why would I want to lose her just because I can't leave my work diba? Besides, I talked to my clients already at pumayag silang si Dave muna ang bahala sa shoots. Tsaka as if may choice ako eh pati si Tito Ed gusto hands on ako sa preparations."
"Anything for the old man's youngest daughter huh?" ani JR. I nodded at him and they all laughed and ruffled my hair.
"You'll survive this shithole, Moe-Moe!" they all said.
I went home after our game to take a shower. It's 9:30 and I have 30 minutes to prepare before I pick Liz up so that we can meet with the caterers for the food tasting. I bathe, shaved, and got dressed in under 20 minutes. Them I ran back to my car and drove out of the village to pick my fiancée up.
I turned the radio on and sumakto namang isang familiar song ang nagplay. Napangisi ako when I heard the lyrics and couldn't help but sing along with it.

Natawa ako when I realized that I still know the lyrics by heart. Eh yung kantang yan was a hit back when I was just a senior in college. Napailing na lang ako and tapped my fingers on the steering wheel along with the beat as I make my way to Liz's house in Pasig.
"Tito Elmo!" I heard Liz's nephew yelled when I entered their house.
"Hi, Luke. Where's your ninang?" I asked.
"She's upstairs with mommy. Tito, can you play with me? Please?"
"Elmo can't play with you Luke. We have somewhere we have to be." I heard Liz said from upstairs. Luke and I looked up and saw her walking down with her older sister Lianna. "Hi, hon!" she greeted me and gave me a peck on the lips.
"Hi, hon." I greeted back. "Hi, Ate Li."
"Hi, Moe. Looking sharp ha." Ate Lianna teased and even winked at me. Natawa naman ako saka napailing sa kanya. "Osige na. You two should go at baka ma-late kayo sa food tasting niyo. Dad will be there too." aniya at madali ng bumeso sa amin ni Liz. I did my handshake with Luke and after that ruffled his hair before Liz and I went out.
"Tito Ed's coming with us?" I asked Liz the moment we got inside my car.
"Yeah. He wanted to taste the food for himself. Alam mo naman si dad. He wants everything to be perfect. Gusto niya pasado sa standards niya." she replied. "Also, we have to meet the florist after natin sa caterer then may meeting din tayo with your staff para sa prenup natin. And lastly, tayo na susundo kay dad sa office after natin sa studio."
