"Shouldn't you go, little Hyjoon? You have school tomorrow."

"Bite me, Yoongi."

YeongMi didn't know what to make of this mild hostility. She couldn't tell if it was a joke, or if they were actually serious.

"It's my room, only I can kick people out. She can stay, it's not like the classes are that far away. I can walk her if she really needed."

YeongMi wasn't sure why she had added that last part - she had never cared to walk anyone to class before. Once again, she cursed Jin for rubbing off his motherly tendencies onto her.

"Actually, I go to a school down the road." Hyjoon didn't even look up when she spoke, as if it was the most natural thing ever for her to be at a different school at an ungodly time in the early morning, when she had school in about 3 hours, give or take a few seconds.

YeongMi looked at Hyjoon in surprise. "Why the hell are you here then?" Yeong-Mi realized that it sounded rude, and she spoke again. "It can't be good for you."

Once again, screw Jin, YeongMi had never in her life cared about whether her words were taken offensively; YeongMi didn't like this - she was acting like an almost-respectable unnie. It made her want to gag.

Hyjoon shrugged. She obviously didn't care that much.

If YeongMi wasn't so curious about the reason behind the careless attitude, she would be intrigued by the impressive show of that certain 'don't give a fuck' demeanor that she appreciated immensely.

Jungkook let out an irritated sigh. "Aish Hyjoon, I wish I was smart enough to be as careless as you about school."

Hyjoon shrugged, obviously not worried about Jungkook's frustration either.

"Careless gets you nothing but - "

"One more freaking word Yoongi, and I'll make sure your balls never drop."

"They already have, idiot, want to see?"

"I'd rather choke on my hand, thanks."

"You could always choke on my -"

"Don't even finish that sentence."

"Seriously Hyjoon, how do you do so well when you stay up so late?"

Once again, a Hyjoon shrug.

YeongMi wondered if she was just going to shrug at everything.

Maybe she just wasn't paying attention, Yeong-Mi thought.

"What's your name?"

Hyjoon had barely lifted her shoulder before looking up with narrowed eyes.

YeongMi had almost gotten her.

"Choi Hyjoon, soon to be a student at this school."

Jungkook clapped his hands, clearly excited. "Then we can have classes together, and I won't be the youngest in the group anymore!"

Hyjoon flicked his forehead, smirking. "But you'll still be the most immature, bunny boy."

YeongMi snorted; Jungkook really did look like a bunny. She so wasn't letting him recover from this.

"Aish, I am older than you by 3 months, where's my respect?"

Hyjoon started searching her pockets before shrugging hopelessly. "I guess I lost it the moment you opened your mouth at hagwon, and let out a garble of sounds before running away from me a few years ago."

YeongMi laughed so loudly that Jungkook jumped, scared at the sudden, booming sound.

Hyjoon grinned, and Jungkook started to pout, turning red for the umpteenth time that night.

"Aish, you girls, leave the baby alone."

"Jin, that's not helping!"

"Well, you are acting like a little baby-" Jin pulled Yoongi's shirt to stop what would no doubt have been a stream of insulting words.

YeongMi had almost forgotten how quickly the eldest boy could control the group. He seemed so quiet and sweet, but he was more than aware of his power as the oldest one in the group, and he would occasionally use it.

YeongMi felt a sudden pressure, and she looked down to see a smug Jimin lying on her lap.

"Mimi, will you sing me a song?"

YeongMi took a moment to decide whether to kick him off of her, or turn his request into a nightmare.

"Close your eyes, shut your mouth, or my fist will put you out-"

"That's hardly a good lullaby. Such violent words for such a pretty mouth."

YeongMi shrugged at Jin, grinning at Jimin's momentarily startled face.

She actually didn't mind his head on her lap though; it was rather warm, and the human contact was not something she was used to - her parents were never ones to dote on her, and Seungkwan hadn't been around long enough to coddle her too much.

She lay her head back on the couch, mindlessly beginning to run her fingers through Jimin's fluffy hair.

She found herself humming softly, and soon her eyes were closing. She was almost asleep when -

"Wow, she fell asleep."

"Jiminie, how come you get to have her play with your hair? I want her to touch my hair too!"

"Taehyung, that's so weird-"

"Shut up Kookie, you know how nice that looks? It's nearly put Jimin to sleep."

"And maybe if you guys actually stopped talking, I'd be able to sleep fully."

"Why are you complaining Jimin, look at where you are - "

"I will smack you with my spatula if either of you says another word."

"I mean, I guess it's cause they're younger, but I'd much rather have her in my lap, if you know what I mean-"

"Namjoon, not another word in front of Kookie."

"I'm not that young guys, and I've seen your porn too. I know all I need to know."

"I seriously doubt it."

"How about you all shut the fuck up so I can sleep, or else I'm kicking all of you guys out, even sleeping Yoongi and Hoseok, and you guys can have fun dealing with them after being woken up."

YeongMi's threat was well-taken; soon, everyone was settling down, and there was no sound except breathing, and the light snoring that she had learned came from Namjoon.

She had never slept with the sound of others breathing before she came to this school. Having her own dorm meant she was alone, and she had preferred it that way, but lately....

She liked the company, though she'd never admit it.
