Because of Jungkook's offhand challenge, everyone ended up unpacking the truck as quickly as they could.

Of course, this ended in dropped bags, clothes ending up across the beach and into the water, and Namjoon falling into the bushes.

While everyone was struggling to collect their lost clothes, YeongMi calmly walked to the house, Hyjoon on her back, laughing boisterously.

YeongMi and Hyjoon would be sharing a room, so naturally they searched for the master bedroom, quickly claiming it while the boys were still outside.

YeongMi changed into a bikini and slipped outside just as the boys found out the best room had been taken, based on the loud complaints.

There was about 10 feet of sand between the house and the water. YeongMi walked up to the water, letting her feet disappear underneath the waves, and she took a deep breath.

Maybe this shared vacation wasn't so bad.

The shrill sounds of a group of people down the beach quickly interrupted YeongMi's thoughts, and she sighed.

It had its ups and downs.

"Yo! Look at that babe!"

YeongMi groaned; Slowly she covered her face with a hand, preparing herself for whatever she was going to have to listen to.

"I don't know, she looks like a total loser to me."

Wait....

"Oh my god, Mi, are you stalking me?"

A hand on her shoulder scared her, and she laughed off the embarrassment.

Turning around quickly, she let the boy hug her.

"You're the one that came up behind me, obviously you're the one doing the stalking."

She caught the eye of her brother over Jeonghan's shoulder. He smiled a small smile, letting it grow once he saw her smile back.

Jeonghan let go of her and laughed, "also, I told you that you would forgive Seungkwan."

"Fuck you."

"Who's fucking who?" The unexpected voice caused YeongMi to jump, once again.

She turned to Namjoon, seeing the other boys behind him. Jungkook and Jimin were staring wide eyed at Jeonghan, Seungkwan, and Woozi.

"You're - you're from Seventeen!"

Seungkwan nodded like it was obvious - it kind of was - and Jeonghan smiled happily while Woozi waved.

"Yeah, we're just here filming a concept video. But, maybe we'll see you later, because we have a 2 day vacation."

YeongMi waved to Seungkwan as they turned away.

They walked away quickly, soon disappearing with the rest of the group down the beach.

"Okay how the fuck do you know Seventeen?"

YeongMi shrugged, "childhood friends. It doesn't matter."

She repressed memories of all her ex friends who had used her to get closer to idols - these boys weren't like that.

They nodded, obviously getting that YeongMi didn't want to talk about it.

"So, who's going in the water first?"

Hoseok teetered between staying still and running to the water full speed, the uncertainty reflected in his squinted eyes.

YeongMi grinned; now was the time to forget everything. She wouldn't let anything hold her back, because it seemed that everything did in her life. This was the time to be careless, free.

She hardly noticed it when she began running, hardly felt the frigid water eating up her feet, lapping at her ankles and sucking her deeper. All that she felt was the exhilaration filling her chest, a balloon inflating as she felt, in that moment, that she had discovered the secret to happiness; letting everything go.

She waited until she was chest deep before jumping into a wave, letting it pull her under. With her eyes scrunched shut, she felt like she was seeing everything more clearly than ever.

When she surfaced, she could hear the loud cheers and yells of the boys, and she turned around in time for Jungkook to jump right next to her.

While she was wiping the spray from her face, someone had sneaked behind her, and she let out a yell of surprise as they picked her up.

Of course, they had to slip, and soon the both of them were tumbling under the salty waves.

YeongMi surfaced first, lightly shoving the person underwater.

"Namjoon, I hate you."

But the smile on her face gave away that she wasn't mad, and Namjoon laughed, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her lightly. YeongMi pressed her palms on his chest to barely push him away.

"You could never hate me."

YeongMi sincerely hoped that they wouldn't have to find out.

"You're such a clutz."

"I had everything under control, trust me."

YeongMi snorted, rolling her eyes, but she relaxed her hands on his chest, and he grinned.

"I could just shove you under water right now."

"Or you could stop being so pretty and then I wouldn't have to do this."

YeongMi raised an eyebrow, "do what? If you push me I swear - "

She froze when Namjoon's lips pressed against hers. The salty water slipped from his lips to hers, mixing with the pressure to give off a cold feeling.

And then the cold wasn't an illusion, because water was going over their heads; but they hadn't fallen.

"Quit kissing and hide you idiots!"

YeongMi turned to Yoongi, on the verge of either cussing at him or questioning him.

But it was too late.

"Oh my god! You guys are here too?!"
