"So, are you okay?"

YeongMi pulled a face, opening her eyes to look up at Jeonghan.

She was laying across the couch, with her head in his lap, mainly because she knew he wouldn't like it.

However, he had let it happen without a question, and YeongMi had been too surprised to question him about it.

"Are you getting sentimental on me?" Jeonghan shrugged, and YeongMi patted his hand teasingly. "It's okay, I know you love me."

Jeonghan shook his head, and YeongMi tried to resist staring at the way his hair swung side to side.

She failed, of course.

"You majestic motherfucker."

"I don't remember fucking your mom. Your dad, now - "

"Oh god, no more," YeongMi sat up quickly, waving an apology as she accidentally kicked Vernon.

Jeonghan laughed, and YeongMi rolled her eyes.

"But seriously, I don't know what Seungkwan told you, but it's nothing, I'm completely fine."

Jeonghan looked her over with a skeptical look, and YeongMi bit her lip, before muttering out a string of curses as she accidentally pulled at the slice in her lip.

This seemed to prove Jeonghan's point even more, and YeongMi crossed her arms in defeat, leaning back against the couch and avoiding his eyes.

"I mean, one day you come over here looking like you survived the Titanic, and the next, you come over with a beat up face-"

"Hey! My face is fine, you should see hers."

Jeonghan sighed softly, shaking his head again, and YeongMi reached out to tug on his hair, causing a strained glance from Jeonghan.

"Well, when you want to talk about it, you have my number."

"As if you ever answer texts fast enough for us to have a conversation."

Jeonghan smiled at her, "I'll give you a special ringtone so I know it's a priority."

YeongMi drew back, pressing her hand to her chest.

"You mean you don't already have me as a priority ringtone?"

They laughed, and YeongMi was grateful that she had skidded past the subject.

But it seemed to want to find her, because soon Dino was standing in front of her, waving for her attention.

"There's a guy here, he says he has to bring you home."

"Okay, thanks," YeongMi furrowed her eyebrows; she supposed Jimin had volunteered to collect her.

After forcing Jeonghan into an uncomfortable side-hug, she stood up and went to find Seungkwan in the kitchen with DK.

Sneaking up behind Seungkwan, she pulled him into a back hug.

She wasn't really sure why she was so intent on hugging people, but she didn't let it bother her, because this was the last time Seungkwan would be around for her to hug, for a while at least. Their break was over, and YeongMi was upset that she had wasted their last day with arguments and fights when she should have been with her brother.

There was nothing she could do about it now, though.

"Take care of yourself, loser."

"You should really follow your own advice, idiot."

YeongMi dismissed his words with a wave of her hand, and slowly made her way out of the door.

She had been wrong; it wasn't Jimin here to bring her back.

She felt her blood go cold, and she quickly looked past him, walking around him and hurrying down the beach.

He easily caught up, though.

"YeongMi, come on, wait a second," Namjoon was surprised when YeongMi actually stopped and turned to him.

"Look, I don't know what Jin told you to say, but I couldn't care less. Just leave me alone, and we won't have to deal with anything else."

But Namjoon wanted to deal with it. He didn't want this sour connection to last.

"Please, just listen to me," he reached his arm out to touch her, but she quickly stumbled backwards, her hard eyes boring holes into his retinas.

"I have nothing to say to you," she scowled, "nothing that Jin would approve of, anyways."

She was practically running now, wanting to get away from Namjoon, and he was chasing after her, desperately trying to think of what to say.

Jin had told him to fix this, but he didn't know how. And he wasn't sure if he entirely wanted to.

"YeongMi, come on, we have to at least apologize," she stopped abruptly, turning and shoving him backwards when he didn't stop in time.

"That was the worst apology I've ever gotten," she pointed an accusing finger at him, "you went too far, and I don't have any desire to speak to you again, nonetheless apologize. I mean, you have the nerve to say we should apologize, after what you said last night? I mean, I knew I was a bitch, but you, just, congratulations on surprising me."

He stood frozen for a moment, watching her disappear into the house.

What was he going to do now? God, she was so frustrating sometimes.

All the time, actually.

He sighed in defeat, making his way into the house, shaking his head when Jin turned to ask how it went.

Well, at least he tried.
