"Where'd you go, you hardly spent an hour at the party."

YeongMi groaned internally as she sat next to the puppy dog that was Taehyung. He was already nagging her before she even got comfortable.

Not that these seats could ever be considered comfortable.

She rather regretted not getting a lunch punishment now. At least then she could've just slept peacefully, even if her fingers would be burning from the 'magic stick.'

"My brother called me, so I left to talk to him."

She left out the fact that the conversation had been a stunning 5 minutes.

The others gathered around, save for Namjoon, who was suspiciously leaning his head towards them, he was so listening in on the conversation, while Bora clung to him like stinking ivy to a tree, trying to suffocate him and kill him -

Maybe not exactly like ivy.

"You have a brother? I didn't know that! Does he go here? Who is he? What's his name? What's he like? Can we meet him? Does he know about us?"

Taehyung's bombardment of questions was too much for YeongMi's sleep deprived brain to handle.

YeongMi's smile was guarded; she had to be vague, she couldn't tell them who her brother was, because then they'd know who she was, and therefore who her parents were - no. They couldn't. She wouldn't let that happen, not if she could help it.

Of course, he went by a fake last name too, but some of those fans are crazy, albeit scarily talented, and his real name was known to most of them. It was unsettling really, how they could find personal information like that.

"Yeah, I do. He doesn't go here. He's just a loser who sings too much. Nice voice though, I guess."

Hundreds of fans thought so, at least.

YeongMi remembered when she was his biggest fan, hell, his only fan. Oh, how the times change.

Taehyung moves to say more, but a rough shove from Yoongi shuts him up, and YeongMi is left alone to stare up at the sky, thinking deeply, oblivious to the others' curious stares.

She closed her eyes, leaning her head on the table.

She had stayed up late talking to both her brother and Jeonghan, so she didn't have much time to rest.

Aside from laying on the bed talking to them, but really, the lack of sleeping was hitting her hard today.

Even after talking to her dork brother and the angel boy, her mood hadn't really improved. Surprisingly, as they both were incredibly therapeutic people.

She felt very defeated at this moment. She was drowning in school work, she wasn't getting sleep, and this Bora situation was stressing her out and frying her brain cells. She couldn't function for much longer without a breakdown.

And those were never pretty, especially from her. She was a catastrophic young girl, really.

She couldn't do anything about it though, because despite her bad feeling, Bora hadn't really done anything and no one else seemed to be uncomfortable with her around.

Maybe it was just time to move on.

YeongMi knew she'd be excluded soon. Private jokes and old experiences would suffocate her because she didn't share them, so she couldn't reminisce like the others.

She would be lightly cast aside, shoved by the comfortable memories that she was barred from.

It wouldn't be on purpose, of course, but it was sure to happen. It was unavoidable, really, if things kept going the way they were.

And they probably would.

She expected everyone to leave her alone, but Hoseok didn't get the hint that she wasn't interested in socializing.

She really should have just gotten a lunch punishment.

"So, how long have you been dating Jeonghan? Why didn't you tell us you had a boyfriend? Does he go to another school? Does he live back in the States? Where'd you meet him?"

"Yeah, what does he look like? Can we see him? Do you guys talk a lot?"

"Have you guys fu- ow! Jin, that hurt."

YeongMi sat up with wide eyes and a red face.

Her, dating Jeonghan?!

He was gorgeous, of course, and if things were different YeongMi probably would have been all over it when she first met him, but he wasn't exactly in the same game as her.

Now, instead, she found herself discussing with him over who was boyfriend material versus who wasn't.

"God no, we're definitely not dating, he's my brothers friend. Why the fuck would you think we were dating?!"

Hoseok, and the others for that matter, looked confused at her outburst.

"Just, Namjoon said - "

"HoSEOK! You don't just say that, you're throwing Namjoon under the bus."

YeongMi raised an eyebrow and looked over at Namjoon who, based on his sheepish expression, had heard the whole thing.

YeongMi stood up, walking over to his table and sitting next to him, ignoring Bora completely.

"You know, you shouldn't assume things about people."

He looked over at her, and they held a gaze while Bora looked annoyed.

"You heard me say Jeonghan's name once, and automatically I must be dating him?"

Namjoon inhaled lightly, smiling awkwardly.

"With that logic, I must be dating you too!" A strange look crossed Namjoon's face at that. "And everyone here. Hell, I'm even dating Bora."

The look fell at that, and Namjoon's face pulled up, exposing that he didn't like that idea, at all.

"Sorry, I just thought the way you spoke about him made it seem like you liked him."

YeongMi shook her head, her skin crawling from Bora's unfriendly staring.

She'd had enough.

"I'm sorry Bora, but can you fuck off? Don't trust your boyfriend to have a conversation with me alone?"

Bora sat back surprised, and Namjoon looked like he was about to berate YeongMi before he seemed to realize what she had said.

"I'm not Bora's boyfriend."

It wasn't clear who was more surprised from Namjoon's declaration, YeongMi or Bora.

Namjoon leaned his elbow on the table, resting his head on his hand as he gave YeongMi a smug look.

"You know, you shouldn't assume things about people."
