"YeongMi."
Maybe if she lay really still, Hyjoon would leave her alone.
"Yeong...... Mi......"
Maybe she'll give up.
"Okay listen. I know you're awake because I saw you open your eyes to glare at me. So let's make this easier for both of us. You get up, and I get to go outside without being alone."
Maybe-
"Bitch, get up."
YeongMi sighed and gave up. She followed Hyjoon out of the room, only to be met with more people.
The living room was full; some of the people she didn't even recognize. Most of them, honestly.
She searched for her brother before realizing that there was no way that management would let them out to go to a beach party with a bunch of kids. It would be bad for their image, what with the drinking and obscenities.
Still, she would've liked the comfort of her brother. And his friends weren't half bad to hang around, either.
Without meaning to, YeongMi found herself scanning the crowd for a certain familiar face.
She really shouldn't have, because when she found him, it wasn't a good feeling.
Namjoon was leaning against the wall. And who else was slung around his arm but Bora.
She hated that her mood immediately changed at the sight. She hated that she cared.
She cared a lot.
Hyjoon pushed YeongMi to the side before she could make a fool of herself.
Seeing Jimin sitting on the arm of a chair and staring, quite obviously, at the pretty girl beside him, who was busy talking with her friends, YeongMi quickly moved over.
She grabbed his arm and pulled him up.
"Dance with me?"
The cocky Jimin was gone; he was blushing and looking down, but he nodded, and YeongMi pulled him to the open floor.
Focusing on his footsteps instead of her face, he seemed to relax.
"Mimi, do you like me?"
YeongMi snorted, feeling bad when she realized that it seemed rude.
"Jiminie, you're absolutely gorgeous, but no. I just happen to know that you're an amazing dancer, and that when you dance, you get a different aura about you. So if you dance with me, and then show off your skills, maybe you'll get enough confidence to talk to her."
Jimin smiled slightly, a blush coating his cheeks.
"Her name is Yujin," he admitted softly, and YeongMi cursed herself for nearly cooing at how cute he was.
When did she get so soft?
YeongMi nodded, "I think I've seen her around school. Have you talked to her?"
"Oh, yeah. Definitely. So many times."
YeongMi raised her eyebrows, "really?"
Jimin looked down shyly, and YeongMi laughed.
"Okay, she's looking. Now start freestyling and get that girl."
She backed away towards the couch as Jimin began to dance again, more confident this time as he let the music flow through his body.
"Excuse me, you're from Daewon, right?"
YeongMi turned; Yujin had spoken to her. Though her eyes were glued to Jimin.
"Yeah, and my friend Jimin. Man, he's such a good dancer, right? I could dance with him forever."
She noticed Yujin perk up at her words.
She turned to give her a sly glance.
"You've never danced with him, right? Well, why don't you go ask him to dance?"
She licked her lips nervously, "oh, no, I couldn't."
"You'll regret it," YeongMi grinned at her.
At her friends cheering, Yujin got up and soon enough she was dancing with Jimin.
Even if it was rather awkward.
Very awkward.
YeongMi sighed, smiling to herself.
Ah, young love.
She shook her head; no, she shouldn't be thinking that.
Love was nothing, remember?
"Since when did you start getting people together, match maker?"
YeongMi turned to Hyjoon; a slow smirk rose to her face.
"Well, you're my new customer!"
"What-"
YeongMi shoved Hyjoon just as Yoongi was passing them.
She wasn't expecting a romantic novel type of confrontation, where Yoongi would catch Hyjoon easily and they'd have intense eye contact for 5 minutes.
But she was expecting more than this, staring down at the two of them writhing on the floor, echoing groans.
"Why the fuck did you throw yourself at me!"
Yoongi stood up, crossing his arms and glaring at Hyjoon.
"Oh, you wish! As if I would ever willingly get anywhere near you. I was pushed."
YeongMi laughed, sitting on the couch arm and grinning at her masterpiece.
They turned to her quickly, and Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"You know, you don't need to use Hyjoon to hit on me for you."
YeongMi simpered.
"You're so right. Next time, I'll just punch you in the face, myself."
"Only if you kiss it afterwards."
YeongMi snorted, and Hyjoon smacked Yoongi.
"I'll leave that to Hyjoon."
Hyjoon smacked YeongMi, who cringed but laughed.
Looking over Yoongi's shoulder, YeongMi frowned.
Bora was dancing with Namjoon.
She sighed, quickly escaping outside.
