YeongMi felt her heart rising to her throat; whether it was the pain of running for too long, or the realization that Jin may never want to see her again, she didn't know.

It hurt more than she had expected, speaking to him like that. She felt at a loss; he was the one person she had actually wanted to listen to, the only one she deemed worthy of her immediate respect.

And now she had ruined it.

With no other ideas of where to go, she headed down the beach.

In a blur of crumbling walls and desperate distractions, she finally arrived at the house.

The boys were overflowing out of it, as they always seemed to be.

She spotted Jeonghan, but this time she decided to overlook that, instead sneaking around the boys until she found the only person who could console her. Even if he didn't realize it.

Her brother and DK were teasing Vernon, mimicking everything that he was doing.

She tried to get his attention without disturbing anyone. It would've surprised her that none of them had noticed her so far, but she figured there were so many of them that it was hard to keep up with all of them. She could blend in as one of them if no one looked twice.

But Seungkwan was facing away from her, and in regretful defeat, she settled for walking over to the small group to tap on his shoulder.

But Vernon saw her first, and his facial expression was enough to gain the groups attention.

As soon as Seungkwan turned around, he was grabbing her arms and shaking her, scanning her body for every last detail.

"Who the hell got on your bad side?"

She smirked a little, trying to play it off as nothing.

Stupid, it was nothing.

"That two bit bitch who was hitting on everyone she came across."

"Oh, so you got in a fight with yourself?"

She glared at him, wiping stray blood from her cheek.

"I'm bleeding out and you still can't say anything nice to me. Maybe Jeonghan should be my favourite."

Her brother rolled his eyes, before turning to her, mouth pursed in surprise.

"Wait, he's not your favourite?"

YeongMi shook her head obnoxiously, giving her brother a tired smile.

"You're so daft, of course you're my favourite."

Seungkwan smiled widely, and YeongMi wished she could take a picture - he looked so happy, and she didn't often get to see him smiling so freely, with no thought to how it contorted his face or made his cheeks stick out funny. No, it was free of insecurities; it was genuine.

"Well, in that case, let me get the first aid kit."

They slipped inside with relative ease, despite Vernon trailing behind them, and somehow managing to hit almost everyone he came across.

A few of the staff tried to stop them and take YeongMi away to fix her up, but Seungkwan insisted on doing it himself.

The fact made YeongMi smile, though as soon as he actually got around to doing it, she was complaining loudly while he called her a baby.

"Be still damnit, you're bleeding all over."

"Well maybe if you stopped pulling at the skin, it wouldn't bleed so much!"

"Do you want me to do this or not?"

YeongMi set her teeth, and Seungkwan not-so-gently dabbed her cheek. She wasn't helping, of course, by wincing away from his touch.

A bandaid over her nose, a bandage taped to her cheek, and three layers of madecassol later, and Seungkwan was finally satisfied.

With all of her complaining, she found that he had done a decent job.

She looked down, frowning as she noticed the blood splatters on the otherwise pristine shirt. She started picking at them, but it only made them worse, spreading the specks of blood deeper into the fabric.

She felt bad; she had ruined the expensive white shirt, and it wasn't even hers.

There were loud footsteps, and YeongMi looked up to see a few of the boys had come in. Finally noticing her, a few of them jumped in surprise.

"YeongMi, what are you doing - " Mingyu paused, frowning down at her in confusion. Or, more specifically, at what she was wearing. "Is that my shirt?"

YeongMi frowned, pulling at the fabric in apologetic regret. "Oh yeah, sorry about that," she stood up, toying with the hem of the shirt, pulling it upwards. "Do you want it back?"

Seungkwan quickly pulled her hands away from the shirt, letting out an exasperated sigh.

"You know, as your brother, it concerns me how willing you are to take off your shirt in a room full of boys."

YeongMi snorted, "please, it's not like I'm naked underneath. I'd never do that with you in the room."

Seungkwan shook his head, sighing. "That's not all that comforting, you know."

YeongMi grinned, "well, I guess it runs in the family."
