YeongMi woke up, feeling a pressure
on her left breast and a slightly uncomfortable bump under her neck. This was a bad idea.
She shifted her body to lay her head on Namjoon's stiff arm under her, and she moved to cover his other hand, that had migrated to her breast during his sleep, which was somehow comfortable to her.
Such a bad idea.
She ignored the fact that she'd never woken up so warm and happy before, despite the deep soreness in her body.
A completely, utterly dreadful idea.
Namjoon had done his job well; she had been completely distracted last night. She hadn't even thought of Seungkwan once, until now that is.
And even now, with his hands on her, his body pressed tightly against her back, his warmth soaked into her and chased away the painful thoughts, replacing them with flashbacks of his touch, and the events of last night.
But she knew that it was more than a distraction; it was an excuse, she hadn't been lying before, she really had thought of this, far too much.
It was a tragedy wrapped in a daydream and dipped in paradise.
A totally bad idea.
This paradise was interrupted, as Namjoon had woken up.
And with well reason, as they had school in less than an hour.
He removed his hands, and YeongMi sat up slowly, stretching, carelessly letting the covers fall from her bare body.
Namjoon looked at her and ran his hand through his hair, laughing lightly to himself.
"So that was real, not another dream?"
He probably hadn't meant to say that, or for her to hear; she did.
"Another dream? How many of these dreams have you had of me, hm?"
YeongMi smirked and Namjoon shook his head, exhaling loudly.
"Well from what I heard last night, I'm not the only one having these dreams."
YeongMi's smirk fell at that, but she laughed.
"Yeah, whatever stupid, let's just get dressed and go to class."
She reached a hand out to rub his head, something completely stupid and out of character for her, aside from teasing Jungkook.
The absolute worst idea.
She struggled to find her clothes; once she noticed Namjoon staring at her, she stopped trying so hard, instead opting for staying exposed.
The look on his face made it worth it, though they ended up late to class, both of them looking less than perfect, with Namjoon's torn tie and YeongMi's ripped skirt.
It wasn't obvious at all, of course.
It was.
As soon as they arrived to class, the boys gave them looks, ranging from scolding, impressed, smug, and mortified.
"Namjoon, bro, how did you manage it?!"
"Park Jimin, raise your voice one more time and you'll find yourself cancelling your lunch plans."
The teacher wasn't as impressed as the others at the late entrance, and she turned to the two with a face full of irritation.
"As for you two, since you missed part of this class, I see no problem with having you stay for lunch, to make up for it."
YeongMi didn't even care to respond, only walking to her seat without so much as a look.
"Hey, that won't be a problem for them, it's probably enough for a quickie to continue from this morning-"
Yoongi was quiet enough to avoid detection from the teacher. Unfortunately, he sat next to Jin, who wasn't so happy about his comment. A brisk punch to the shoulder quickly reminded Yoongi that the teacher wasn't the only elder he needed to watch out for.
The morning was gone in no time, and soon it was lunch.
YeongMi and Namjoon were joined by Yoongi and Hoseok.
YeongMi spent the time arguing with the two boys about her involvement with Namjoon while he listened to music.
Quite loudly as well; YeongMi could hear it, but she didn't mind.
The dirty comments and friendly jabs were bearable; YeongMi didn't bat an eyelash. But when she was exiting the room after punishment, that's when it turned badly.
And it wasn't Namjoon's hand discreetly brushing against her butt as he walked behind her.
No, she actually loved that.
What she didn't love was the sight of Bora waiting outside.
She hadn't even considered Bora in this situation; had she gotten mixed up into a complicated love triangle now?
Bora flung herself at Namjoon as soon as they exited; YeongMi was nearly smacked in the face, and she went to yell, hit, fight, do anything bad to Bora until Hoseok held her back, pulling her to the side.
Not before she heard some of the conversation, though.
"Namjoon!" She didn't like hearing his name coming from Bora's lips. It felt wrong. "Why did you get in trouble again?! And what on Earth happened to your tie?"
YeongMi stared at them, trying to ignore the pain in her chest at the sight.
It was nothing.
Heartache. It's called heartache.
Seeing Bora's arms thrown around Namjoon's shoulders, seeing him let her hang on him, it was clear to YeongMi.
This was more complicated than she'd hoped.
She knew that it was a bad idea.
